RETIRED: Rite Aid - Clearance Thread

I just had the weirdest thing to happen-Ijust got back from RA and was checking my clearance loot and I thought I bought the glade candles refills(you know the 3 in a pack thing that burns in the dish)-well they were the oust instead of glade (.74 each) and I used 2 of the $2.50 off 2 refills on them.Are they the same company.They never beeped at all.I did not realize they were not glade till I got home.anyone know why.

Thank you everyone for posting what you're finding - I finally got to go shopping today, although I had to rush because DH and the kiddos were in the car. But I did manage to get quite a few things 75% off!

Natural Instincts Shine Therapy was 2.32 - 1$mq
I guess this is a clear shine color type thing...It says its fine to use on colored, treated, or natural hair. The only colors on clearance at my store were bright red or rosewood (auburn), and the clear shine therapy.

Physicians Formula Blush with the brush attached to the top was 2.73 - 1$mq
I think all of these were clearanced.

Nice & Easy hair color only had a couple colors on clearance too. 1.99 - 2$ mq = free :-)

Oh - and a couple of the PHisoderm face cleansers were 50% off...I want to say a little more than 4$, and they still have the 2$ peelies on them. I got a bunch for almost free at my local grocery store, so I passed on them at RA :-)

Thanks for posting! I saw the early post and used up most of my L'Oreal Qs for free make-up today. I didn't know about the Dove vitalizer, will definitely be going back to check that out. I LOVE the one I picked up at CVS right after the holidays (had too many ECBS expiring, had to get something, I even paid for them!) and I highly recommend it.

I saw some weird Windex (lime or something...it was green) and sun bright(I think?) generic dishwasher detergent 75% off.

Tango, I was just about to post the L'oreal True Match Bronzers! I needed some filler items today to be able to use the $5/$25, and these worked out great! They're in a little .4 oz bottle, in case anyone is curious.

I also found some L'Oreal mascara on clearance 75% off. They come in a box, and they're called "Feather Lash mascara." They rang up $1.98, so also free with the recent $2 coupon. (I want to say it was in Jan. 4th's paper.) There was another type of mascara that was originally $8.95, but I'm too cheap to pay a quarter for mascara when I get so much free.

Price checking might be a good idea with some of this stuff. The RA I went to earlier today just had 50% off signs in front of the True Match bronzers.

Does RiteAid have price checkers in their stores? I didn't think so because I have never seen one, but you never know!

Also, is it all true match bronzers? Or just certain ones?

I bring stuff up to the cashier to price check. The new registers have a special price check key.

Thanks so much for the reply! I will have to cut some coupons and attempt a trip tomorrow. I have never really shopped there using coupons, so this will be a new experience. I am very well versed in the shopping at CVS and Wags, so why not add one more stop?? LOL

It's the $5 off of $ 25 cpn with exp. date 06/30/09, you should be able to find it under the 'Coupons' forum.
