be careful with these usb to firewire adapters. i bought and tried 3 of these cheapo before from ebay, only 1 worked for a short amount of time. the money wasted would better be invested in a real fireware card.

I agree, there is a high failure rate with those items, and a lot has to do with QA. But you know as well as I do, that people here see that as a good way to abuse the liberal policy.

As far as your sig, If you post anything like that, you are attention seeking. I did read your post referring to the fact that you put that in to counter a comment that you didn't like about socialism. The amusing part is that you chose to insult those that believed in a particular ideology, instead of going for the overall general concept. A bit harsh on the delivery, and when you insult or attack like that, it shows a position of weakness.

Not to lump you into the same crowd, but have I seen you protesting at any armed forces funerals? Sounds like the same mold.

No, you're right, calling republicans greedy and ignorant, along with comparing religion to mental illness is definitely not insulting. What was I thinking?

It's not so much that I am offended, especially since I'm not religious, but have the intelligence to let people decide what they want to believe in without judging them (ok, I stooped to your level a bit). I am also able to tune out beliefs that differ than mine, and don't get offended by their method of celebrating, except when those core beliefs are founded on attacking anyone that doesn't have the same belief. I've seen so many people whose quest is to dispel the beliefs of others, and they go to great lengths to do so. I guess I'll never quite understand why that is, shouldn't one be confident enough in their own viewpoint to not be concerned about others? Unfortunately, every group has extremists, but I've noticed that people that share your belief system tend to fit the extremist mode a bit more. Maybe people just are so repressed in real life they need to vent on a deal forum. Live and let live isn't religious is it?

I am right leaning though, and I love intelligent debates with people with different opinions.

No, I prefer to keep my beliefs to myself, and don't see a point to debating political stances on a deal website, as I'm quite comfortable with them. That said, I did find it appropriate to point out the idiocy of your need to judge others. Your points are entirely correct from your viewpoint, just as others completely opposite to your views are entirely correct from their viewpoint.

If you were looking to make a political point, try intelligence before insults. Stick to debating the merits of your ideolgy instead of having your primary goal to attack people for their beliefs.
