Just a heads up, I got the offer in the mail a couple of days ago and verified it in store today, it's 0% for 18 months for purchases above $299 on your Lowe's credit card.

WOW, and here I am with a $550 gift card to spend! They sure are making it challenging to figure out the best deal. They have some cork flooring I've not seen elsewhere(at a fair price, not spectacular) that would just put me over the $300 mark. I'm guessing I would get 10% for opening a new account plus the 18 months is attractive.

We should all read the terms closely. I've done the HD 12/12/no/no deal a number of times over the years; but Uncle Sam now requires payments 'along the way' to maintain the terms. In other words, I don't believe we can just have the no/no deal until the last minute and pay off the balance in 17 1/2 months. Check the fine printWink .

I've done a 12-mos no payment at Lowe's last year but you may be correct in that the government doesn't allow them to do so anymore. Anyway, this is a great deal for major purchases, especially if you can find something on sale or combine it with military or movers coupon.

They don't do no interest/no payments since the new CC rules dropped. Now it's just no interest for 6/12/18 months.
