i'm trying to figure out what the difference between the 260 piece and this 255 piece set is. i've been waiting for a deal for the 260 for a while. the 260 seems to have a lot more reviews.
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_1015...936260 main difference i noticed between the 260 and the 255 piece sets is that the 260 has more wrenches and the 255 set has torx bits whereas the 260 doesn't seem to have any. other than that they are nearly identical. is the AAA 5% discount only for AAA members? if so you should specify.

I prefer 6pt instead of 12pt for sockets of 1/2". I jumped $69 craftsman 154pc deal yesterday. In my opinion it is useful than 255pc and 260pc set.

I agree that 6 point 1/2" is a negative point, but the setup in this case is nice for portability. I already have a 6 point set so I will replace the 12 point with what I have. If you are wondering about what the gripe is about 6 point vs 12 point, google it. More importantly, you would strip less bolt/nut with 6 point especially with torque necessary for auto. I did end up buying, but now I am thinking, could I have gotten a better deal. Sears offers vocational discounts of 20% off, but I don't know how to apply it. any ideas? |

It is not letting me use the $5 off with the AAA discount. It says you can only use one coupon at a time. Anyway this is a good deal.
Anyone that has this tool box, how much room is there in the top opening for screw drivers and pliers? |
