I know what you are getting at...but I think it would have to be a different term...

I bet you there are more households with multiple PS3's running right now then households with multiple 360's...mostly due to the fact a lot of people were buying them as BluRay players plus the fact that PSN is free = free streaming device.

However...without a DOUBT many more 360's have been sold as a 1:1 replacement.

You would need to track disposed consoles...and you can't use the 40% repair figure that gets thrown around because Yes...I have had 2 consoles repaired, but only have bought one...so that might show on the sales chart as 3 since all of my replacements were NIB from Best Buy but I have never disposed of a console personally (they were all released into the Fix It process.)
