RETIRED ***chat*** Rite Aid Chat Thread
RITE AID CHAT THREAD
This thread is being created for us to come and talk/chat. The Rite Aid Deals thread is for the deal talk. So hopefully this thread will help decrease the off topic chatter in the deals thread and we all have a place to chat with each other.
Crap. Three transactions today and no surveys for me.
Also... this is strange for me, but I think I'm done for this week. I'm in SoCal, so there's only two days left anyway, but it's still weird. I may go back and pick up some Frito's and ice cream Thursday.
..... (and then am going away for the rest of the week).....Anyway, just wanted to check in and you all.
Hope you and Mr. Rodent have a great trip.
Will you be making any pickles with the cukes?
Our green beans are growing. Yay! My DH was so excited to see them poke through the ground. This is the latest that he's planted them, but he had to wait until it warmed up to 70 for a few days. We've been back aroun 65 the past couple of days.
I'm so pleased to read that your green beans are doing well. Hopefully you'll have garden friendly temperatures/weather from here on. I have made pickles in the past but I do much better with sweet relish. My pickles never have come out exactly the way I want. I'm always open to trying something new though if you have any suggestions. I use many of my cucumbers in cucumber and tomato salads for easy and cool summer lunch.
Wish I had some success with my green beans! Was really hot a few days after planting the seeds, but now it's been rainy and darn right cold (highs in the 50's) all week. My cukes and squashes are finally starting to sprout, but only one seed per hill, and not all hills, so probably the darn weather. I do have flowers on some tomato plants, pepper plants are OK, but eggplant look horrible. A few sugar snap peas have come up, as have beets and carrots, but just barely.
Gardening in the cooler climates must be quite challenging. Guess I never really gave it much thought before. I take my hat off to you all.
... Last year, the weather was so horrible, my DH had to replant our grean beans 4 times. He was not a happy camper.
WOW! Gotta give him tons of credit for his persistance. Not sure I would have given more than 2 trys before giving up.
Did you not plan for this contingency? I mean the Starship Enterprise had a self-destruct button. I'm just saying.
Gotta agree with you. I went yesterday for the 1st time this week. After "shopping" I looked down into my cart and only had a box of Bayer, small Visine and some Slim Jims for my DS. I did pre-buy 6 Lysol items and a bag of Beggin' Strips (since the shelves were bare) but seriously a sad trip.
Like Bunnies, I've been using my unused RA time in my garden instead. I've got tons of flowers on my tomatoes and cucumbers now. Everything looking very healthy. YAY!
Angellinda, How does your garden grow?
Yeah!! My tomatoes have flowers too! My cucumber leaves are getting huge, no flowers yet. I have flowers on my peppers and I have a pepper or two just starting to grow.
Welcome back, Bunnies.
I didn't get the email statement from RA either and I'm signed up to receive emails.
Hope you are having a good time..... I wish my family lived 90 mins away
But didn't you get the memo?... You have to keep your OT specific the the DS thread it is in.... So no mentioning Wags ......... unless you are in the Wags thread.........
~Things have gotten really confusing around here
Is this true? How crazy that would be. So SD will have to police every chat room and do what...mod warn us that we talked about an OT in an OT room? You can talk OT just keep it specific to that room? Someone take away their booze please!
+UP to spend and nothing to buy. No Lysol hand soap deal here. My DS wants a fan so maybe I'll buy one of those. He stuck a screwdriver (don't ask) in the blades of the one I bought him last year so I don't really feel like spending +UP on another one.
