i had to laugh at this...and go check the Family Size bag of Cheetos I bought last week! It is 20.5 oz! In comparison, the regular size bag of Tostitos I bought is 13 oz, so yes, they make bags that "huge"! But no, I think the chips thing is just a typo/misprint. Hopefully it doesn't beep!

Does up & up brand make a lysol equivalent? if so, the cleaning coupon should work on that, right?

I was in this morning to do the glade deal,and the register did not prompt for the gc even though I got the same exact product that is pictured in the ad. CS made it right,but has anyone else had it happen?

Same happened to me. I bought the items where the signs were and they insisted I bought the wrong items . They fixed the card and then...told me the T q's wouldn't work because I bought the wroThere were some coupon mistakes, but no big amount, but my total BEFORE tax was $22.80 and my 5% off was .91 - that is incorrect. It should have been $1.14! Now I wonder how many times my discount has been incorrect.

have you ever shopped at target w/ ip tq's? it doesn't sound like you know all the facts or had any experience.

first of all, almost all of them state one per transaction. that person used approx 200 in one trans.

most stores will let you use a few like tq's in one transaction which was wonderful when the produce q was out the last 2 summers or the on gc deals where you usually have to buy anywhere from 2-10 items per transaction. there have been many cheap/free/mm deals at target over the years and we would like to keep it that way.

however, when someone abuses the tq to such an extent, inevitably the store and sometimes other area stores (b/c that person probably didn't do it at just one store) clamp down on tq usage and limit everyone to like tq per transaction.

just for example, last wk there was a b3 aveeno get $5 gc. there is a 1.00 aveeno tq out. in stores that have cracked down on tq usage, you would only be able to get 1.00 off instead of 3.00 off from tq's.

if you were not able to use just 2.00 in tq's every wk, that ends up as over $100 in one year. such coupon abuse has long lasting ramifications. it's not just one isolated incident where nobody else gets free jeans b/c that person got them all.

there has been a 1.00 produce tq for the last 2 summers. wouldn't you like to get 4 free apples instead of just 1??? would you drive all the way back to target another day just to get 1 more free apple? but would it be worth your while to get 4 free apples along w/ some cheap or free pens, handbags, jeans, etc, etc, etc.

it only takes one person to abuse a target coupon to that extent to mess it up for everyone who shops at that target and surrounding targets, not just the one or 2 that post from that store on sd. we know there are many sd'ers who never post but do partake of the good deals to be had here.

if the situation is severe enough, it can affect everyone who shops at target with coupons. about 3-4 yrs ago, the 5 off 25 toy coupon was altered. there was a press release, it made the news and nobody could use that coupon anymore. one of the long lasting affects of such coupon abuse is that there hasn't been such a generous toy coupon good for any toy out since then. it's very rare to have a tq good on any item in an entire department and we will certainly never see another one for the toy department.

with every massive coupon abuse, target changes the ways the target coupons are distributed and it gets more and more difficult to obtain them. when i first started, there were target coupon generators at multiple websites and you could print as many as you wanted from home. you could print them out from the gift registry kiosks in the store. b/c people abused the tq's, target moved to hiring a company that limits prints to 2 per computer and the more popular ones disappear w/in hours. this thread gets overrun with people begging for coupons, even though it is not allowed. this wk everyone will be begging for glade tq's, esp newbies and lurkers who have never posted b4 and don't know what's going on and don't bother to read the wiki. it's very irritating for everyone following the thread and esp for those like me who are not going to be buying any glade.

Just in case you didn't know, there's actually such a thing as coupon fraud and it costs our economy millions of dollars a year. And, to use the same coupon 200 times in one transactions is going against the Target policy and I believe they do care cause they limited the website to 2 per IP address. It's not a morality issue as much as it is an stupidity issue.
