No true, I adopted a outdoor car that some one threw away, he was attacked and scarred by a bobcat, she is the sweetest cat I have ever had, she docent like being indoors much.

As for watching her she sleeps in her home by my front door.

No offense, but all life forms' natural stage should be outdoor in the wild. Cat is no exception. Not everything centered around human beings

just to clarify, when I said "cats are indoor animals only", that was a prescription, not a description - responsible owners generally keep them inside unless they live on a farm or something. obviously some cats still end up outside. just because you found her outside doesn't make her an "outdoor cat". what, were you expecting to find her in your kitchen cooking breakfast?

sounds like a lovely cat. hope she's as tranquil as you say and doesn't end up getting hit by a car or killed by a dog some idiot left off its leash.

no offense, but that's an incredibly stupid thing to say about a domesticated species
there is nothing "centered around human beings" about taking some responsibility - if for some reason nobody thought cats were cute and worth adopting, then more of them would end up being eaten by coyotes or shot or whatever. you can't feed and shelter an animal then let it run rampant and cry "but but humans shouldn't interfere "


anyway, I'll drop this now, my original post was just a public service announcement. there are a lot of undereducated pet owners in this country, and it breaks my heart. there are plenty of ways to let your cats enjoy the outdoors without (on average) cutting years off their lives.

I totally disagree your statement of "cats are indoor animals only". They are safer indoor only because the owners were not able to to provide a safe outdoor environment for them. And for the reason, the owners restrict the cats' freedom and claim them as "indoor only". I agree there are potential dangers for cats on the street, but that does not define cats "indoor only". Cats in the wild does not need to be "indoor" to achieve their potential lifespan. Anyways, there really are a lot of undereducated pet owners in the world. Apparently, being responsible for another life is fairly challenging for us.

BTW, the word "stupid" is rather offensive. It does not goes with "no offense".

I bought this litter and got the rebate, but hated the product. It stank the house up and lasted no longer than any other litter brand I've tried while smelling far worse. Maybe other people will like it more. At least they sent the rebate money.

And my kitty is an indoor guy, but I accompany him outside for a while each day so nothing bad happens to him. He seems very happy to have a bodyguard on his walks to protect him from dogs and cars.
