I personally use the MK700 at work. I don't really notice the ergonomics of the keyboard - but it is a solid keyboard. I like the audio controls - rarely use the short cuts
The mouse makes it. I love the programmable buttons (I use one for back and one to close applications. I have it set in Word and Excel for copy and paste...really slick!)
The one click search is really nice (when it works). When it does work, you highlight some text, then click on the search button and it brings you right to google (or whatever search engine you choose).

I bought a few of the Logitech Wave sets for work. Everyone liked the upgrade over the wired sets. Like most other reviews - it's very easy to hit the back/forward button on accident w/ that mouse. I haven't been able to program those buttons (haven't really tried hard though.)
Keyboard - I jump on those keyboards every now and then but haven't gotten the hang of it. I'm sure if I use it straight for a day or 2 it will be fine.

I'd go with the MK700 between the 2. I'd love it more if I could use the tiny unified receiver.
