Deadline to submit online claim form is September 1, 2011. Postmark deadline is September 1, 2011.
FYI:
4. Do I have to have a copy of my Gift Card?
If you can, you should submit a copy of the front and back of your Gift Card with the Claim Form. If you do not have a copy of your Gift Card, you are still eligible to file a Claim Form. Claim Forms submitted without a copy of the Gift Card will be segregated and holders of these claims may receive a distribution only after distributions are made to holders of Gift Card claims who present copies of their Gift Cards with their Claim Form. If you submit a Claim Form without a copy of your Gift Card, your claim will be limited to no more than $100. Claims may be prorated based on available funds, and distributions that total less than $10 will not be made.

F, I trashed my $100 Discover reward Sharper Image GC. Who knew it is still worth anything after 3 years.

Nice offer, but I'm sure it's mostly a marketing stunt and they're hoping most people would have given up and tossed those GC's by now. Sorry "new-management-team-of-a company-once-know-as-Sharper Image". The original company burned their customers. This isn't going to make it better.

The good news: I just found mine. In the first place I looked, too! Originally $80 from a credit card reward program, I think it still had about $20 left on it.
The bad news: This only reinforces my packrat tendencies. I don't throw anything away, because I think "I'll use that SOMEDAY". |

That article doesn't mention the main reason they went bankrupt was the costs it took to litigate their defamation case against The Consumer Reports for revealing their Ionic Breeze was a sham as the main reason it was silent was because it had no mechanism to move the air, therefore being highly ineffective.
