None of the articles mentioned as to how the holders can proactively request the refund. I think I am still holding on to mine... just a few weeks ago thought of trashing it but did not...
the refund should cover a small portion of my $3k tax bill. |

Crap...I just threw out my $2,245 GC last week...

They better include language to include "rewards" cards as well. I have $120 in those and they are different than "gift" cards.

Darn, I trashed a Sharper Image gift card not too long ago when I cleared out my gift card stash. Maybe I should hold on to my $25 Circuit City gift card after all.
