World of Goo for iPhone/iPod touch will be released for $0.99 on April 14
World of Goo, an awesome game that's only been available on Wii, iPad and PC/Mac/Linux, was released for iPhone and iPod touch today, April 14. The price is $0.99 on launch day, then it will increase to $2.99.

NOTE, if you already own, or want to buy, the iPad version, don't buy this, as the HD (iPad) version will be turning into a Universal app.
The announcement from developer 2D Boy's blog [2dboy.com]:
As stated above, both versions should look the same on the iPhone/iPod Touch & both support retina display. The HD in the title of the universal app just refers to the higher resolution of the iPad version of the Universal App
Also note that if you've only played the Wii and/or computer versions, the developer has stated that there'll be a secret character at the end of the iOS versions of the game. No idea what that means, but a nice little extra bonus!
