Target Vizio 37" LED TV - 1080p/60Hz - YMMV $470 or Extreme YMMV $329
Target clearance TV season is upon us. I just scored my first two of the season tonight.
DPCI 008-09-1430 - Vizio M370NV - 1080p/60Hz LED TV (Edge lit)
Clearance price at my area Targets is $470. Most Targets are only going to have a display unit left if any at all. In that case you can try to get more. In previous years these deals were so good because Target policy was 30% off on display TV's. Since the half-life of a modern LCD TV is 20K hours or more, even a store display model left on 14 hours a day for 10-12 months still has A LOT of life left. Target realized that and the policy changed this year to 10% off. So there's the extreme YMMV. Many managers and employees don't realize the new policy so you may be able to get 20 or 30%. If they don't have the remote in back, if there are some minor scratches, use those to bargain on. Heck, just be polite and ask.
I landed two tonight, one display that was in perfect condition, and one new but opened box that was missing the power cable and remote. I was able to get both for $370 (20%) off. Even at $470 it's a warm deal, but if you can get another 20% off these are very pretty TV's and super slim. Great for wall mounting.
