No wonder they aren't really sold in the US. If you read through the specs they are basically all Nissan cars. They use Nissan engines/frames and just about everything else. So, it would seem if you want a Samsung quality car, you could just buy a Nissan Smilie

Interesting deal, OP. Adding the pedestal [bestbuy.com] adds $200, though. Decisions, decisions.

the dryer says the power cord is not included.
there are 2 options for power cords to buy separately: 3-prong or 4-prong
does it need to be one of those specifically?
TIA

(I used to sell appliances at best buy)

This is obv a great washer+dryer deal. The problem with front-load washers is the pedestals are a huge scam. That's $200 each, or $400 for the pair of pedestals, (which is basically just a drawer which brings the washer/dryer from a stupid short height to a normal height).

I haven't worked there in a few years, but if you go in store just to buy the pedestals, you could probably get yourself 20%-30% off without breaking a sweat. These things come up at cost in the best buy system at $60 or so. If you are just buying the pedestals in store, since employees/managers are pushed for high-margin accessory dollars.

Buying them with the cheap front-load washer/dryer will be tougher, since peeps that work there will know they aren't making any dollars on the wash/dry, and will know you aren't gonna buy a garbage service plan.

Around 4,000 is a normal stores appliance revenue goals on a week day. Even getting $320 with most of that being profit and very little time wasted is a win for best buy obv. Ask for 30% off and I'm sure they'll at least meet you in the middle.*

*I haven't worked at best buy for a few years, so obv ymmv
