Please help me find CHEAP rechargeable AA batteries!
...and I mean cheap. I don't even care if they're NiCad and in fact I imagine that the cheapest I find will indeed be NiCad. We have a bunch of solar/LED lights that line our walk and driveway and most have quit working. The good news is that the battery packs they use are just dual AA batteries with a basic circuit board and LED for lighting so replacement should be easy. We have lots of nicer rechargeable batteries in the AA & AAA flavor but I don't want to use my nice batteries for some outdoor lights that are going to see various weather conditions and likely last a couple seasons at most. I really don't think I would see a return on investment if I popped for NiMh batteries so I'm thinking Nickel Cadmium. So where is the absolute cheapest batteries I can find to suit this need? Thanks! If my post has helped you in any way or made you smile please take a moment to click the number next to my reputation and add to it. Thanks!
