Coupon Database - Released: New Insert Date, Coupon History, & Anyone Can Edit Coupons

Wow. You guys have done a ton of work!

One question. How do we add the date of the insert from which the coupon came from?

Also, if it's an insert - do we pick insert... or smart source/red plum?

Ex. I was going to enter this coupon to test things, but don't know how to add the date of the insert and whether to pick "insert" or "smart source".

Not really sure, I can't reproduce that on my end. Did it happen for more than one coupon?

My feedback:

I don't like the cent sign. I was putting in a $7.00 coupon, and it came out .07 the first time, then I edited it, putting in '700' and it came out right. Not intuitive. I think it would make more sense to have '$', and you could enter data as 7 or 7.00 and either way would come up right.

Also, the date field I tried typing in expiration of 4/24/11 and it became '4/24/1911'. I think there aren't any expirations from 1900 to 1999 that we need to worry about.

Is there a way to bulk load a bunch of coupons?

It does it every time you add one.

For insert coupons: add the insert date in the description....so in first field I put

Splenda 80 ct from 4/17 SS

Yea I much rather use the find key in my browser than type in the database which is dependent on spelling.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of even having a coupon database?


It's meant to replace the need to Ctrl+F in that thread (or that thread altogether) and provide an easier to use match-up tool.
