Vegas to San francisco travel - help needed.. please

Vegas to San francisco travel - help needed.. please

Hi,
4 ppl are travelling from vegas to san francisco... our trip initially starts at minneapolis -- to vegas... spend one day there-- next day goto grand canyon - hoover dam--- the next day goto san fransisco... come back to vegas spend 2 days and again fly to minneapolis....

my question is.. what is the cheapest way to trvel from vegas to san francisco.. we can drive... but i m not from US... so i m not sure what rentals to take from vegas... also we would need the car from sunday 29th may and mon 30th may....

please help.....

It is about 575 miles from Vegas to San Francisco..roughly a 10 hour drive. That is a huge amount of driving to do over 2 days and not worth it in my opinion. yeah i too think that its not a good idea....that too for a short stay in vegas.. just enjoy the gambling and be back....

San Diego is about 300 miles. It's about a 5 hour drive sometimes a little more with traffic (depends on the days you plan on coming or going). Definitely doable and you won't be as tired from the drive.

oh is it.....???? i feel like crying... i wanted to escape the cold whether of minneapolis..... but again cold climate.....ok will try to discourage him by telling this...

The weather will be nice...but the water is chilly....brrrrrr!

I usually wear a wet suit until the end of June in San Diego. Water is in the low 60s normally during May.
