Slight spoiler: I know I have to goo a tall wall, then fall through my own portals to get enough speed, then while in midair, pretty sure I have to throw one portal on the launch pad, and another where I'm about to land.. but its so friggin hard shooting 2 portals, accurately, all within .5 seconds

So, I found it easier to just use the ramp to chain a ton of progressions. I placed an orange on the platform facing where I needed to go, stood on the top of that ramp and shot a blue straight down and jumped in it. Every time I popped out of the orange one, I would wait til the last minute to shoot a blue going further each time. Eventually I landed on the platform I needed to be on. It's a dumb solution, but it worked.

If that's the one, you need to portal up to the high ledge that you can reach, put 1 portal on the floor under you, and another portal on the floor within sight of the wall that you need to launch from. Jump into the portal underneath you, as you come up and out of the other portal, place a portal on the wall that you need to launch from. You'll fall into the portal you just came out of, and launch out of the one that you just placed on the wall.

There aren't really any puzzles in the game that require the type of timing/reflexes that you describe, so if you think you need to do that, you're probably doing it wrong.

Think so... it was the first time I've seen the white goo (sounds gross saying that)..

I've tried what you described a few times.. and not once did i have enough speed/hang time to reach that time grate. thats why I think you have to go through twice, then shoot the launch pad mid air, then shoot another for you to land in. That way, you maintain/gain speed, and get enough air to actually make it up there.

I'll give it another try tonight tho

I don't recall anything that complex.

Is it the area where you have an enclosed area that's surrounded by walls with gates gates with the white goo flowing inside of it? On the outside of the enclosure, you have two large towers side by side? The screencap does more justice than my description:

Use portals to move the white goo in between the two towers, then switch back and forth between the centers of the towers, spraying a little more on the opposite tower each time. After a little bit, you'll have white goo above the walkway and you can just portal up. Create a portal down below, and you're set.

To further break down the strategy... Put an orange portal to intercept the white goo that's falling on the ground. Walk a blue portal forward, coating the ground in front of it with the white goo. Do this until you're in between the two towers. You should then be able to arrange the blue portal on the ground so that some of the white goo hits the side of one tower that faces the other. Put the blue portal on this spot, so that the white goo hits the OTHER tower, and zig zag back and forth, walking it up the two towers until you're above the catwalk.

Yes...But i never even finished it. Did a few tests and deleted it. I just hate puzzles. Stick Out Tongue

Maybe they weren't hard, but for me, it took me quite a while to solve most of them. Though, after I did, I would always realize how simple solving it was even though i spent a good chunk of time trying to.
