The stores are very small with an extremely limited selection of name-brand goods. No manufacturer coupons accepted. House-brand pricing is great if you are in an area that doesn't have WalMart food options. Store brand items are often dirt-cheap and the quality is good. Bakery/fruit/veggie items go on massive clearance on the last days of "freshness". I always shopped the clearance racks and often got bread for 42 cents a loaf, cookies for 25 cents, or ready-to-microwave meals for 75 cents. ETA: Another dude here, so it's not just ladies who peruse this forum. |

YMMV
Went to a local Savemart store today to check out the Allegra 6 ct price - $6.99 so 1.99 with Sunday's $5 insert q. But they also were clearing out their Lysol no-touch handsoap system thingy-magig. $3.00 per unit, so free after insert q (this past Sunday's) refills were only 1.97 each but I did not see any q on these. If you did not get Sunday's paper, Lysol.com has a printable one, must register first.

I have a quick question. Are there only certain cartridges that gives you a return of $2.00? According to the rewards, it states "Earn $2 in Staples Rewards for every eligible cartridge you recycle". I ask this because when I returned my empty cartridge, I only got 10 cents credit for each. Thanks.

YAY! I'm so excited because we got the $3.00 Nivea Q in our insert!
Finally we got home from a LONG day of shopping. For those of you who still have the Similac Q's they are on TPC at Target for $3.78 and the $5.00 Q is beepless... just thought I'd let you all know ![]() Also at Target a bunch of different varieties of the Emerald's Nuts are on TPC for $3.50 each (mixed nut's, Almonds, Cocoa Almonds) so with the $1.00 TQ (peelie on the package) and the $1.00 MQ it brings them down to $1.50 a package

This post probably won't be useful for very many people, but it is so hard to get deals on gluten-free foods that I wanted to post it for those who can use it...
The Grocery Outlet in Antioch appears to have recently gotten a whole shipment of GF items. There's various mixes (bread, brownie, pizza dough, etc.) as well as a variety of cookies (chocolate chip, choc. chocolate chip, animal cookies) and biscotti. Brands are Arrowhead Mills, Ian's and Pamela's. Prices are incredibly low compared to what we usually pay ($1.49 baking mix!), and I have been stocking up! ![]() This appears to be unique to the Antioch location, as I go to 2 other GOs and haven't seen any of this there. Go figure. Hope that helps some GF NorCal'ers! |

Those of you who snagged the $2 Heinz ketchup coupon from their Facebook page yesterday can get a 40 oz. bottle for better than free at Safeway. There is a J4U coupon that makes it $1.79, good through 4/24. Limit of 2. I bought two bottles and the price shows as -.42 cents.
![]() And heads up for anyone with the personalized strawberries price of $2.49 or lower (it is no longer available.) It works for the buy 1, get two free deal that ends today. I bought NINE POUNDS of strawberries for $2.97!!!!! That almost makes up for the cashier accusing me of copying the ketchup coupons because they weren't printed in color. I had to get the manager to come up and deal with her.
