This is good advice. I was thinking about 100k for the home, though none of us have seen it or are experts on the area. The reason I say that 100k is a better offer is because there are 3 other options and they have been on the market for over 3 months. You can move up on your offer but if your initial offer is too high you don't have any wiggle room. You can then negotiate other incentives or perks because they are the builder and have more access to upgrades. It's an emotional experience buying your first home, don't get heartbroken if it doesn't work out. There is always another house out there for you. If they don't want to negotiate at all, walk away and look for something else. You should always be willing to walk away, never feel like you MUST have this house. You have the power right now in this market as a buyer.
