Kindle Special Offers Thread - Latest Deals Here - No Trading/Selling

Check your emails from this week, I got an email from amazon to take a survey. They are paying $5 Amazon GC for that. The questions were about the special offers. One of them was: "are you satisfied with the offers?" guess what my answer was! :

Special offers have been the suck lately. The suck.

I see 0 offers.... Is that the case with everyone else ?

I'm having a great time with the new Nook Simple Touch. Kindle Keyboard 3G w/ SOs will find a new home, soon. I wanted to switch earlier, but SOs were holding me. Since they disappeared completely (except the measly $3 VOD code recently), I had no reasons to keep the KSO.

will be getting rid of mine also. does anyone know if there is anything else besides de-registering to wipe out all my information for a kindle?

you can deregister and restore it to factory default just in case. mine already found a new home. got more than i paid for it.

the Nook Simple Touch feels a lot better in my hands b/c of the back curvature compared to Kindle's smooth backing. the nook's keys to flip pages and power button feels stiffer to press though.

compared to the kindle keyboard, i like the nss better. don't know about the new kindles though. maybe they're better.

so... with no special offers. then the KSO is just a cheaper Kindle?

Hm, do you know if this was sent to all KSO owners, or a random sample? I haven't gotten one. I'd sure like to share my opinion... about how lame the offers have been for months.

It might have been random because I have another Kindle registered to another account and I never got an email there.

C'mon KSO. Just one good deal! I got my kindle after the last good deal (that grocery % coupon) and want just one hit!
