Should I Return This?

One of my friends hosted a thirty-one party. I ordered a card caddy from her. I figured $30 for 30 cards plus a little carrier wasn't too bad of a deal. After shipping and tax, though, it came to over $40. To make matters worse, I ordered in February and just got it today. I'm disappointed. The cards are square. Very cute, but square. Square cards are okay. They included standard card envelopes, though. So I can send the cards in an envelope that doesn't fit, or I can buy new envelopes. All of the envelopes say thirty-one on them, which I also find tacky.

That being said, the cards are very cute and I like the idea of having cards on hand. Should I return it? I'm torn. I doubt I would get the $6 shipping back.

I wouldn't, you're already out the money, and 30 decent individual cards would cost more than $40 bucks for sure.

I have a box of nice hallmark cards for all occasions and I LOVE having them on-hand. I use like one a month.

I agree. I had to purchase three cards the other day because I didn't have my usual extra cards on hand....they were $4.95 plus tax each....and NOT hallmark.

How much is your friendship worth? What if they found out you returned it?

return them. if asked why, list all your reasons. start with the tacky 31 on them.

Yep, that, but the fabric is different and the cards are square.
