Please see HT Coupon acceptance policies one again.

HT does not allow doubling/tripling IP coupons and only 20 coupons are allowed per day per customer/household with VIC card. They accept coupons for items only of equal or more value; they do not give cash back.

Please do not start discussion of invalid scenarios.

HT had sent notice to other sites in the past for invalid discussions and we don't want that to happen here.

Thanks everyone.

HT Coupon Acceptance Policy General

* We accept coupons that have not passed their expiration date for use; we can not accept any expired coupons.
* We accept only one manufacturer coupon per purchased item.
* We do not accept coupons on items not purchased.
* Coupons must be presented at time of purchase; we can not return money for coupons not used.
* Coupons presented and items purchased must match exactly; size, variety, flavor, etc.
* We uphold any purchase stipulations set forth by product manufacturer.
* We accept only one coupon for Buy One Get one Free items.
* We accept coupons for items only of equal or more value; we do not give cash back.
* Sales tax is paid by customer at full retail.

Doubling

* We accept 20 double coupons per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded.
* We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.
* We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value.
* No internet coupons will be doubled or tripled. No competitor coupons will be doubled or tripled.

Internet Coupons

* We gladly accept internet manufacturer’s coupons for product; however no “free” product internet coupons are accepted.
* With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.
* We do not accept internet coupons that do not appear to be originals or that won’t scan.
* We gladly accept local competitors’ circular or direct-mail coupons; however we do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers.

Rainchecks

* Rainchecks never expire and are accepted at any Harris Teeter store.
* We do not issue rainchecks for coupon items that may be out of stock or for “while supplies last” items.
* We reserve the right to limit raincheck quantities based on product availability and advertised limits.

Scan Guarantee

* Our scan guarantee states “If an item scans higher than the shelf tag or sign, you will receive one like item free, excluding alcohol and tobacco.

Harris Teeter reserves the right to limit quantities in coupon usage, as well as products and to amend our policies as we deem appropriate.

Some of the things I found this evening:

Dawn Detergent $1.99 - $1 coupon doubled = free
Friskies Party Mix cat treats $1.50 - $1 coupon doubled = free
Meow Mix Market Select cups 3/$2.00 - $1 off 4 coupon doubled = $0.17
Ocean Spray Oatmeal $2.99 - $1 coupon doubled = $0.99
Truvia natural sweetner 40 ct $2.99 - $1 coupon doubled = $0.99
Bounce Dryer Bar 2 ct $4.49 - $1 coupon doubled = $2.99
Dannon Lite and Fit $0.80 - $1 off 10 coupon doubled = $0.60
DanActive 4pk $2.50 - $1 coupon doubled = $0.50
Dannon Lite and Fit 6pk $2.50 - $1 coupon doubled = $0.50
Pert Plus for Men $3.27 - $1.50 coupon doubled = $0.27 plus MIR sticker on bottle

Also, the HT I was at (Alexandria, VA) had a bunch of stuff on clearance 50% - 75% off
It was in shopping carts in the frozen food section.
There was a lot of fancy olive oils (I bought one from Australia) and flavored oils.
Lots of pet things on sale -- mostly bird and rabbit stuff.
Also, Cashew Poppycock 50% off $2.00 - $0.75 coupon doubled = $0.50

I totally had no idea about this. Thanks for sharing because I always drive way out of my way to go to HT and they have nothing left. So now, I'll just go to Kroger. Their prices are better anyway.
The great thing about the rivalry is that you can get lots of things at HT but only three of one coupon at a time. When Kroger chimes in, you can use 20 like coupons if you want, and they DON'T lock your card out after 20 items each store. I have bought 20 of the same item at Kroger during the triples, which is generally when they get involved, and had no problem. I don't usually do more than one transaction at any one store, but with Kroger you could. Not so with HT.

So ... despite all the cracking down by HT regarding coupon usage, shelves at one store were empty of FAC items. Mad No Clearasil, no Pert Mens. Very frustrating. And of course I left my coupon holder in the van, so I couldn't grab other coupons to use. Bummer.

I did still walk away with 10 bottles of Kens dressing, plus 4 Herbal Essences (combining it with the $1/1 and BOGO styler works great!), 3 regular Pert, 3 First Aid gauze pkgs, Snyders multi-pack of pretzels, several marked-down pkgs of meat, plus apples and pears (can't beat .99/lb!!). Not bad at all. Ended up paying 18.xx, but that was with the extra produce and meat. Oh, and bell peppers in the produce markdown section. I heart markdowns! Big Grin

I visited the closest Harris Teeter today (45 minutes away). I felt like I had a pretty good coupon supply since I haven't been out shopping in awhile. Boy was I wrong! Everything that was close to cheap or free was out of stock. I will be skipping the super doubles from now on and only hitting that store up for tripples. Congrats to everyone who is able to find the good stuff!
