My Staples does not take the $10 off $20 officemax coupon. Did you have to call the manager?

I used it yesterday on some HP photo paper and hammermill paper (made like $2 AR)

YMMV I guess, here in the Charlotte area all stores gladly take them without any questions

Usually the cashier calls the manager over since they do not know that they have to manually adjust items to reflect the savings, t.ex. deduct $10 from one product or $5 from two products or similar.

Staples policy is however to accept competitor coupons as well as doing price matches, but some managers refuse to do it since they think it is their own personal money that is being "lost" + they're just assholes to be honest, lol

I think the 800 model is cheaper and newer.

We have 2 staples in the San Antonio area and one takes them without an issue (they take $10 off one item or smaller amounts off a few if none are over $10) while the second makes a HUGE deal over it but they do it after I question what the staples price match policy is.
