[I posted a version of this deal for a 7" ePad tablet HERE.

After messing around at the website, I realized that the same method would work for the 10.2" ZeniThink ZT-180 tablet.

This tablet is extremely well-known in the tablet enthusiast world and there are a ton of hacks that can be done to it to make it pretty amazing:
See THIS FORUM - SLATEDROID [slatedroid.com]

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is the method:
Go HERE [BuyInCoins.com]
Then follow these instructions:

First you need to click on the menu, (top of page) which will open a drop down section, and then click on "register".
Next thing to do is create an account.
When they ask for recommender you fill in: slickdeals (gives 5% discount) and hit enter to complete the registration.

Next, go HERE [buyincoins.com] and then add to cart.
Next, you click on "checkout" where you can fill in the coupon code: 10%Ebay110 which gives you another 10% discount.
This box is located left of the signs that says: Method 1, checkout with PayPal / Method 2, Standard checkout.
Instead of a person's name, once again, use code: slickdeals in the recommender section to insure you get the 5% discount.
Click on pay with PayPal and head over to make your payment.

Final numbers should look like this:

Sub-Total: $153.97
Registered Air Mail: $0.00
slickdeals:-$7.70
Discount Coupon: 10%eBay110 :-$15.40
Total: $130.87

Here's another great video review.
This tablet looks really good for the money.

It's making me reconsider my purchase of the 7 inch version.

Is there a reason all the cheapo tablets are on Android 2.1? Is it that hard for them to ship it with 2.2 or 2.3?

You should forget about 2.1 altogether.
Once received, what people REALLY do with these cheaper Asia tablets is "root" them and put a different version 2.2, 2.3, etc....on them that has been tweaked to death by people far smarter than you or I.

I purchased my Samsung Captivate smartphone about a year ago.
Once I got it, I thought..."Meh, it's ok. Cool for some stuff, just so-so for other stuff".

And than I stumbled on XDA Forums and rooted my phone's software.
I would now punch an elderly lady in the pancreas before I would give up my rooted Android phone.

Some people are idiots and don't realize that it's not what you buy for the money, it's what is POSSIBLE for the money and how awesome these tablets can be once you tinker with them.

what do you think about the 4 hour battery life? I am thinking about pulling the trigger but this wont last a decent plane ride. However the performance is all I need. It should run 720p mkvs right?

Idiots, really? You have a point there behind all the foolish harshness, about seeing the potential of a product.

But get a clue and realize that some people want to buy something that works out of the box, and don't have infinite time to tinker. After you graduate from junior high school, you might realize that if you want to persuade people, try telling them what it takes and how long, rather than calling them idiots.

I'm going to take a chance on this one and pull the trigger. That $130 price tag for the listed specs is well within my comfort zone. Thanks to the OP for taking the time to lay out the necessary steps to get this deal.

You always get what you pay for.

As bad as it sounds, I decided to buy an iPad why? Because it has the best resale value and won't lose much when I resell it a year down the line. I get to use it for what I need and pawn it off to an excited Apple fan boy. lol If I buy one of these I will be lucky if the garbage man will take it away on pick up day.

Google isn't selling shit. They're giving away their OS for the SPECIFIC PURPOSE of letting companies implement it like this.

There's a reason Apple and Microsoft fear Linux and Android.

add a lil more in craigslist and you could get a better Android tab with a better brand or the ipad 1st generation if you prefer OS. (will take sometime for the deal)

that's why Apple and Microsoft are still pricy due to the bad rep of android product.
