So true. I had to laugh though a few weeks ago. There was a line to checkout halfway down the store and the cashier got on the intercom to call IC3 and instead practically screamed "IC100"!! Needless to say, she got a little help.
If I had a nickle for every time I heard IC3 on Saturday before Mother's Day I would be rich. Trying to use up those H&S q's kept me in the stores a very long time. Good grief was it crowded.
Thanks for the info TMM. Should be interesting to price some items. Curious about the Pampers. I have a friend who told me she gets them wholesale from a hospital and pays 15.00 for a case of 4 pks. I thought that was high for wholesale.
Ooo what manager shared this with ya I think I posted this about a year ago in a thread but no one seemed to care lol.
You're correct on your info though, it's the item cost... before any kind of promotion. Some items have some pretty ridiculous markups... look at face masks! I think they cost about a buck and a half for the store but retail 4.99 lol.

A long long time ago in CA when CVS was really Long's Drugs, they had a similar system only it was based on the word CHARLESTON. If you got to buy at cost + 10% like the employees did, it was helpful; otherwise, seeing the markup on items was just irritating!
Albertsons used to use CHARLESTON about 25 years ago.......do not know if they still do?
