After talking to Us Appliance, this is about as low as they can go on the TV. I was trying to get them to do the 110% price guarantee with Pauls TV yesterday (take $110 off since Pauls was 100 less). They said they just match the price and take 10% off the difference. With the free shipping, no tax and 30 day no questions asked return policy this is a pretty good deal. Probably the best deal you will find till next years come out.

Probably the best deal you can find until October rolls around. Unless its a must have, I think most wait til October - December to buy their TVs for the best price for the year's current model, unless you want to say you have the latest and greatest now

I really think that a deal will come pretty soon around this price for the TV and Kit...questions is how long the wait will be

Yes especially once the VT30's getting rolling into the stores more as well so Iam going to hold out a bit longer even though this is a great deal.

The problem, of course, is Panasonic's head-scratching decision to release the VT to a limited number of retailers. Amazon, BB, HHGregg, Sears, and a number of other main stream electronics retailers are not getting the VTs.

Regardless, the promo's normally start in the summer months and I would expect some attractive deals for those who can wait. For now, however, $2249 is a great price for this set.

Where did you haer that?
Amazon has the TV, so does Best Buy.
The only thing Panasonic is doing for the VT is accepting in store or phone orders only.

Amazon.com is not carrying it. They have one listed on their site but it's through a 3rd party and NOT fulfilled by Amazon... meaning their return policy does not apply.

Magnolia is carrying the VT, not BB. You cannot order the VT online from BB's website.
