Nice price !, but most reviews state that you will get 2-3 hours of unplugged usage.... If you are getting this unit as a desktop replacement, this is a great deal.

Wow, i thought the Sandy Bridge's were suppose to be less power-hungry with the dynamic clock.

Super slick deal imo, considering most sites sell the Y560P for just under $1,000.

The only flaws I could pick out are the crappy res and the fact that it's an ideapad.

Apparently there are lots of people who simply must pay a premium for slightly better build quality, but frankly I prefer the raw power. The bad battery life is a given, as with any laptop with comparable specs.

This would make a great gaming rig if you aren't dead set on walking around with something flashier from Dell's XPS or Alienware lineups.

I got a Dell XPS 15 L502X ($710 for my laptop in my sig) a few weeks ago from the Dell Outlet, but would've preferred Lenovo all the way.

I have a IBM Thinkpad R51e from 2006 and it's still working. Man, just wish this came around a few weeks ago
