Free Verizon Droid Pro with new or renewal 2 year contract from wirefly.com

I just upgraded on verizon.com to the Droid Pro from a Blackberry Curve at $49.99, which was an $80 price drop (including extra online discount, new every two credit, etc) since the last time I had checked a few weeks ago.

Checking other deals today, I see wirefly.com is offering a free Droid Pro with new or renewal 2 year contract:

I'll have it in a couple of days so I'm not sure yet. I had tired of blackberry's lack of internet functionality so I decided to see if android is better for my uses. I did not want to give up a physical keyboard, but width was more important than typing feel. The Droid keys were fine for me when I tried in store.

Don't recall seeing anything about the Pro. It doesn't seem to get as much love; the VZW store salespeople only talk about it when asked.

I've been thinking about getting this phone as well for this reason but I hear there are some glitches with it and i don't really like the feel of the keys. I'm hoping they will come up with a better version in the future, as my upgrade won't be usable for awhile.

Just received this today. So far so good.

The keypad does not seem as wide as the bb curve, so not quite as comfortable to type. I do not type a ton on my device, but I could see how this could be an important factor to those who do. But the keys respond well, and I seem to hit the wrong key less on the Pro than the curve.

And the improved functionality with the touchscreen/keyboard combo is great. Exactly what was missing with my curve.
