I called our affiliate today (Fry's), talked to the about the confusion; they basically told me that eCoupons cannot be used together with paper.. period. When asked what if there are only 2 items on the shelf, she goes "well, then come back." My response was.. well with those of us with kids, we really try to minimize our trips into the store, especially those of us who drive IN to town, who don't live in a suburban area.

I asked her about the recent conversation between managers/cashiers as far as making policy as they go, or screaming that there is a new policy, that nothing is doubling because Fry's stopped (or, Kroger stopped out East), her response was... "Well. I have nothing to say except, that nobody needs more than "5" of any item. If they are buying more than that, and they are using coupons, manager has the right to send them on their way."

I personally dont think more than 5 of some items is a lot... if you are doubling, yes, but if you are picking up stuff for you and your relatives, it's all relative based on what it is. Nobody should be using more than 3 coupons doubled, but if they are at face value, and you want 5 All Detergents, and you haven't found any all week, then by gosh I'm going to get ALL 5. Because .. after all, we do like to wash clothing and not rewear the same stuff daily.

In any case, she was upset that we knew details of the sale before it started. I gave her a nice reminder - that perhaps next time, they should remember that Kroger ad starts Sunday and.. the eCoupons that were available to us on Sunday kind of 'tipped it off". It's not like we don't check our email/online account.

For anyone who has a personalized price on an item the loadable coupons do not work as a manufacturer's coupon. I have a personalized price for Bounty for $5.49 and had the $1.40 coupon loaded. Regular price was $9.99. $1.40 came off but the only $3.10 was deducted for personalized price so I guess the computer will reduce your personalized price if you use one of the loadable coupons.

Speaking of bounty, I noticed the EQ has no size restrictions. Anyone know if it works on the single rolls?

thank you for talking to your store about the new sale Hug2

I think the woman you spoke to isn't a couponer and doesn't buy when on sale and use Qs to save money.

$4.49 in CA too
Thanks! So last question Embarrassment I hope. lol But I received the personalized savings coupons in the mail today and it has a save $3 wyb $15 or more cpn. It is a store cpn and the question is... if I use it to buy 4 morningstar and total goes below $15 will I still get the cats? Here is my plan:
4 Morningstar @ 4.49=17.96 -$3.00(store cpn)-$1mq=$13.96 and I 'should' get back $3cat and $5cat. That is if it all works out. So that would make it $5.96 after cpns/cats. Why do these MS have to be so pricey!! I will still have to pay the $13.96 oop since I have no cats to begin with. uggh!

I am confused and the sale hasn't started for me, and I don't think BARNEY could help. Crazy

I will skip Kroger that week.
I got an idea though. I can always pm at wm if I want an item bad enough.

Hey I am early but I am remembering Valentines coming up. And maybe some of you could use some extra love. Once again. Thanks for everyone here. We have a great group!

You should, as long as the coupon isn't on your card. They ring up the product, then they take the store coupon off after the product has been rang up.. so you should be fine. If not, and cats dont print, just have them void and re-ring. Wink

Just a warning - I have had store coupons count against cats before...long time ago we had a Huggies cat and the store Q put me below the required amount & I didn't get it, also happened with Purina.

and that's why they are always promoting 10 for $10 and buy 10 save $5?? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)aggravating

Thank you to those who replied to me. I already downloaded a coupon, and I think I made a mistake in the type of Pepsi. Also, I already asked the cashier, and they said that the store doesn't carry the gum 6ct or 5ct. Anyone in my location who already bought the gum?
