Thread Details

Sign up for the Warrior Golf Club e-mail group and get a free golf club, or two - just pay shipping and handling.

Step 1: Go here:
Step 2: Enter e-mail and name (recommend throw-away e-mail, reviews say they like to spam)
Step 3: Choose offer:
Offer 1: Free 60 degree lob wedge, pay $11.85 S&H
Offer 2: Free 19 degree hybrid, pay $23.50 S&H
Offer 3: Get both free, pay $29.95 S&H

With all the offers, they throw in a sunglasses, hat, and tees for $9.95 S&H or if you get one of the offers that includes the hybrid, the above plus a hybrid cover for $12.95 S&H. If you don't want it, just delete from you cart.

The downside - they apperantly are big on pestering you to get the whole set. So to avoid that:
a) don't plan on returning - you won't get your S&H back
b) don't call - they will bother you until you buy something
c) signup a new google e-mail and google voice number - after ordering, be done with them and then they have to mail you to pester which is expensive and they don't do often

I've seen too many reviews stating that the quality of these clubs are not worth the "promotional" S&H prices.
For wedges you can go to Sports Authority.. you can find Wilson wedges for less than 30 bucks.. tommy armour clubs too for cheap.
Too much hassle to get low quality clubs from my perspective.. but very nice way to get away from being pestered with calls. .great creativity! Smilie

Another one of those companies who teases free prices but lumps in huge S&H fees on bargain-rate products and then hides behind policies and ineffective CS if anyone calls.

A sucker's born every minute..

ha... i got a letter in the mail today for this too. apparently i'm "one of the exclusive 45 people allowed to demo their clubs".

i read online posts from about 30 people who were suckered into believing they'd get something for free and they got nailed with high shipping charges, and in some cases full price charges which they had to fight for months to reverse.

i took up golf last spring and came across a set of their graphites at a garage sale for $10. they did well for me, but were not a complete set so I did multiple trial offers and essentially got a complete set plus hybrids, drivers, magnetic covers, wedge set, etc etc for around $230. they served me well a full season plus using already this season. HOWEVER, I highly suggest you use a google voice phone number and a separate email account or create a filter. and use a virtual credit card number too incase they try to overcharge. they are not shy about calling or emailing you very often. I read about a ton complaints, but I think I'm thick skinned and like a good deal battle. these may not last me forever but they won't cost me a fortune. I got the steel ones too.

anyway, if you're not up for the challenge of this company, don't bother. but if you just want to save some money and don't needs a serious set of clubs, I think they're decent. then again, I'm a new golfer with less than 3 dozen rounds in me.

funny, this really isn't any diff than the "free" sunglasses offers of the late 90s Stick Out Tongue

Stay FAR FAR away from Warrior Golf. If you buy a single one of their POS clubs you'll spend a lifetime regretting it.
