2011 Panasonic Plasma HDTV on Sale at Best Buy (B&M Only - YMMV)
Panasonic Plasma HDTV on Sale at Best Buy (B&M Only - YMMV)
I stopped by my local Best Buy (Vernon Hills, IL) today and found all their 2011 Panasonic Plasmas on sale.
Their B&M sale prices were better than their online prices and pretty close to the deals I found online.
When the prices are this close, I prefer to buy from a local B&M store.
Here are a couple of examples of the mid-level 3D-capable HDTVs:
They had the TC-P50ST30 on sale for $1,199 ($300 off their regular price of $1,499).
Best price from Google Shopping is $1,153.90 from Buy.com.
They had the TC-P55ST30 on sale for $1,499 ($300 off their regular price of $1,799).
Best price from Google Shopping is $1,495.18 from Abe's of Maine.
When I asked the manager if he could match the online deals, he offered to take an extra $100 off the sale price. This took the price of the TC-P50ST30 to $1,099 before tax, which was below Panasonic Direct's EPP price on this model ($1,125).
Needless to say, I jumped on it.
Note: Best Buy charges tax on all purchases, but offers free delivery and basic setup - very useful for larger plasma TVs.
