Manfrotto 7322CY $99 @ Best Buy - B&M Only...YMMV
*Caution* This may be an extreme YMMV deal, but I thought I'd share so you can keep a look out if available.
Manfrotto 7322CY-BB for $99 at Best Buy (City of Industry,CA). (sorry, there was only one in stock at this location). The item isn't available on BB website, so no go on the inventory checker.
I went to my local BB and found this tripod for $99. For comparison, the cheapest I could find online was $220 (Amazon). Alternatively, Manfrotto has it for $256 on their website:
http://www.manfrotto.com/product/...EAD_TRIPOD
This is a nice, lightweight and compact tripod for travel and on-the-go usage. The legs are made with carbon fibre making it really light. I wouldn't really recommend it for heavy usage, athough it says it can support a max load of 7.7lbs. It measures 20" folded (w/ball head), and weights a mere 2.8lbs. In comparison, its counterpart 7322YB model is aluminum and weights almost double. For a carbon fibre tripod, $99 is a steal. Pretty surprised by the price, and to find it at Best Buy of all places.
I have yet to try it out in the field, but can post my thoughts later if anyone is interested.
Hopefully you have luck coming across one in your store, but don't be surprised if you don't. Happy hunting.
