has anyone got a handle on the new gofobo.com site and how to get to screenings?

Does anyone have or know where to find codes for the bad teacher screening in jax fl?

tha new site is booty and i don't like it very much at all. it seems u have to log in and search for screenings by movie, not just zc. stupid stank gofobo. lol

Not liking the new site for Gofobo, super hard ya gotta look up each movie individually. UG!

Wow. GOFOBO completely sucks.
It was bad enough they haven't produced screening passes for Philly in MONTHS. Now this.

Scheduled Philly screenings BEFORE the site change - Lantern, X-Men, Super 8.
Scheduled Philly screenings AFTER the site change - NONE.

Gofobo has gotten rid of their "partners" list because the partners wanted them to get rid of it. Ridiculous, how will we know where to find the RSVP codes at then?

And, if you search for your zip code, it will always come up with "no screenings available" because NOW they only show up if you enter an RSVP code or gofobo is releasing some of their own-branded tickets for a screening(which rarely happens.) Stupid.

I am so confused! How exactly do you find screenings in your area?

Aha, that explains a lot. When I searched by zip for 20 miles, Green Lantern and Bad Teacher (both of which were listed before) do not show up. When I search by 100 miles, Super 8 in Ohio comes up, and when I clicked on it it said "sorry, all tickets are taken."

That's so dumb.

Any info on a possible "Super 8" screening in the Detroit area? Am thinking it has to be sometime next week since it comes out next Friday.

Actually not stupid at all but very SMART. What they've done is to better restrict their codes to folks who have (and who have paid for) partner coding. These folks are gofobo's bread and butter so it makes sense not to piss them off (when they can't give away their own tickets as all are "sold out" already due to release of codes). This way people are less likely to use (or even LOOK for the codes) and are left with whatever the partner sponsor releases once they're done with their passes. Good for gofobo but certainly harder for us "non-connected" folks to get tix.
