Buy Used Games at BlockBuster B1G1 - Trade in at GameStop with $10 PowerPlay Bonus and make $$ or more in store credit YMMV B&M
Ok, here's the deal. There are 2 promotions going on and from what I understand, they don't happen together very often:
1) Blockbuster Video B&M had all used Wii, X360, PS3, and DS video games $14.99 and under B1G1 free.
2) GameStop has a bonus $10 credit for three (3) Wii, X360, PS3, DS, or PSP games traded in that have a trade-in value of $2.00 or more (and you get store credit instead of cash). Last day for this Bonus is 5/29/2011
Now you'll have to do some legwork on some websites out there that can tell you what the trade-in value of games are at GameStop. Once you get a good list of games and what their trade-in value is, take it to blockbuster and see what games they have in stock to buy. Here's a quick example...
I purchased 6 Star Wars Force Unleashed II Wii games from 2 Blockbusters. Their sticker value is $9.99 but they are B1G1 so it's $29.97 + tax for 6 copies (so $5.00/ea). The trade in value at GameStop is $8.00 so you have just made $18 just on basic trade-ins (if you want cash value from GameStop, stop reading here). I believe you need a GameStop PowerPlay card for the rest of this: With the PowerPlay card, you get an extra 10% trade in bonus, so each SWFU2 game is now credited at $8.80/each ($52.80 credit). Now since you have traded in six (6) games, you get a BONUS $20 credit ($10 for each 3). So you've spent $29.97 +tax cash for the games, and you now have $72.80 in GameStop store credit! To show it another way:
Spend:
$29.97 (+tax) - 6 SWFU2 Used video games
Receive:
$48.00 cash - Trade in value of $8.00 each for SWFU2.
or:
$48.00 credit
$ 4.80 extra 10% credit for PowerPlay cardholders
$20.00 bonus credit for trading in 6 games
======
72.80 credit to spend at GameStop
For my actual transaction, I had a total of 21 games (the 6 SWFU2 above, PLUS 15 others). I spent $113.85 at BlockBuster on the 21 games, and traded in at GameStop for $247.12 credit!

Like I said, you have to know what the trade-in values of the games are. Most of the $9.99 games at Blockbuster will trade in at Gamestop for $3.00 or less! Hope you all can find some deals like I did. And watch out that they don't try to ding you $2.00 for each disc with a little scratch on it (major ones just accept it). Happy hunting!
