As others have said, I would contact the DM or store manager and tell him/her that you don't appreciate being talked about "behind your back" with another customer. It is rude and unprofessional. Beauty is in the eye of the makeup brush holder.. |

The only Christmas movie I'll ever sit through and watch is good ol' George Bailey. THAT is a great movie, and Sound of Music because for some reason they always drag it out around Christmas. |

However, A Christmas Story is a very, very good movie and really funny. It's sort of nostalgic and fun without being schlocky. I think a lot of you that had WWII era dads would be able to relate to the dad in the film.

DD went to see "A Christmas Story" the musical in Raleigh this weekend. She said it was hilarious. She said they had a scene where the dad is fantasizing about how smart he is to have won the lamp. The whole cast came out carrying the lamps and did a song and dance number, ending with a Rockett's line dance with the left kick using the lamp. It never has been my favorite Christmas movie - but it does have some funny scenes in it. |

![]() You'll understand the creepy leg lamp when you see the movie it's supposed to be creepy, lol.Interesting to note the kid who plays the bully in the movie is still acting. He was Titus' brother in the tv show Titus, and very recently ive seen him in a few things, including a recent episode of Hawaii 5-0. The kid that plays Ralphie is actually a director now

While it's never been my favorite movie, I do love it. I would have to say my favorite is "It's a Wonderful Life".
We have a whole list of movies we watch in the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas: A Christmas Story It's a Wonderful Life Scrooged A Christmas Carol (the one with Patrick Stewart) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Home Alone (just the original--didn't care much for the second one) How the Grinch Stole Christmas Charlie Brown Christmas and most of the claymation ones, Rudolph, Year Without a Santa, etc. I think I'm one of just a very, very few people that never cared for "Miracle on 34th" though.

No one mentioned my favorite - Elf.
Scrooged I think is hilarious also. Avatar: Debra Jackson says she likes shopping at the Dollar Palace because it's convenient and casual.
