I have no clue what site you all are referring to and have not seen the "memo" but Wags is DEFINATELY out to stop major couponers! Let's face it after that stupid show came out we have had more and more people who will do anything and everything to get over on stores. I spent years building relationships with my stores and this year other stores in my area had bad couponers and they ended up with one store having $40,000 in coupon loss in 6 months ( my store had $68 in the same time period). I agree with BMR that nowadays couponers are doing everything to get "fishy" deals and it's slowly ruining it for everyone. Too much braging and showboating! The sad part is I have no kids I need to feed but those that do this to help feed a family are the ones really losing!

That's why I said in my comment, if it's really the actual email, because I kinda figured there is more to the story, email etc.

Starting with you would just walk away from your job rather than confront the LP person?? If you're not willing to plead your case and beg for forgiveness, there is definitely a lot more to the story.

But, it doesn't surprise me one bit, that it's all the little employees and customers fault, with no onus on anyone from Wags.

The past few weeks I have posted about a new mega shopper in my area......buying thousands of the RR products. First I heard that the person just moved to the area. I saw the guy on Thanksgiving. Today I find out
there are four people involved in the buying. The person lives in NJ and travels to NY , MI and to Chicago to buy the RR items. Said he works for a non-profit organization and this is his job. Also said they were shipping it all
to India. Has anyone in NY or Chicago ever seen/hear of these people?
They may not be buying here in the future. I was told that P&G puts a cap on how much a retailer can submit
for coupon redemption. So the district called and said no more mega orders. These people used P&G coupons...scope, razors.....they may not be getting the $$ for all the coupons used.
Have any of you mega shoppers encountered this??

Not sure.....these guys spend hours ringing stuff up...so the BA's are making conversation. They started calling my stores right before BF.
The guy's name was something she could not even pronounce. Do they sound familiar?

Might be the people who killed couponing at Wags in my area...........they buy cereal and other items not necessarily FARR correct?

If so they also caused a lot of coupon loss in my area.

So far only the RR items. The bought colgate, 2400 bottles of scope at one store, 2,000 plus
razors. Had coupons for all of it. They put money on GC's and had the employees ring it up.
Was the coupon loss from using too many and the stores not getting refunded.?

I never understand why, really. I can find store after store and cashier after cashier that's jittery about manually entering something like the $5 Centrum coupon, even when they see it's a newspaper insert and they see I have the product. They are scared to death of being flagged by LP. ......and for what? a crappy Wags system that doesn't recognize coupons?

Yet that kind of volume in product and coupon is allowed to go on for an indefinite period by LP?

yeah the whole doom of LP is horrible, yet others do things that the LP ion our area says NO WAY...marking down a rr for example, I KNOW it follows policy...my filler pile does not know that though.

And just not worth a job...so I buy the pencil, gift bag,ramen, candle DF and try to keep everyone happy. I also can handle a beep or two , buit they make my day go better without.

i will agree their system is lacking in a few areas

At my wags you'll be lucky to find 3 bottles of scope and 4 razors of a specific brand in the entire store. He had to be ordering as well (thus, the store HELPED him/her do this).

We have a store that has several coupon people. They special order just for them. It is a newest store and w/o
the coupon people, they would be the lowest selling store. I read a post from one of the couponers, that this store has the top RR redemption in the state. I no longer shop there but do get some inside info from other stores..
So when the other wag stores in the area got a chance to make some money, they said yes...we will order. This other manager has been ordering for years now....we can do it too.
But we know how coupons have changed with limits per transaction/per day.........not sure if the scope or razors had limits. I didn't buy either.

Yes...they ordered. But I can't believe they actually got it! I order RR stuff....never like that....20-50
items and sometimes they get 10.....You'd think the computer would red flag a 1,000 plus order
for just one item.

If they are from NJ I think I know who they are. They were cut off from 4 stores around here for using fake listerine coupons when the listerine was free after RR they used 1000's of these coupons in the parlin store and the store MGR got into a ton of trouble for letting them do so much so the 3 surrounding stores also cut them off. They do not ship any where they sell in the stores they own.
