I have had this happen several times as well. One time the cashier insisted I had to swipe my card before the points screen would appear. Funny part is, I was paying in cash. So I said, I don't have a card. Now what do we do? Then he suddenly "remembered" how to make the points screen pop up. I usually act like i have no idea how to pay if I can't use my points and the cashiers freak out enough that they will have to void the sale that the training on the register resurfaces in the brain. That's my opinion anyway.

Another Starbucks fiasco in the making??? I hope they have their act together this time. Anyone know if this has to be refrigerated or is it shelf stable. I have wondered on some of these coffees that are shelf stable - once they are refrigerated do they have to stay refrigerated?

The RR should not affect as it comes off a total not a specific item. The $5 off $20 takes off of every item in your trannny. So yes the $5 off $20 will affect the amount of money you will get back, look at your receipt. What does it say you paid for specific item? That's what you should get back if returned.

For me, they all just turn the screen, so we both can view, and I can tell them what to hit. Kind of tells ya. . .not many every day customers are redeeming points.

I think pwcpal hit the nail on the head. I actually had the same thing happen yesterday, was told that if the PIN pad didn't prompt me to redeem points, then I must not have enough to redeem. Told the guy I had XXX,000 points and really felt like I could handle spending 5,000 today. Normally I suppress the snark, but it slipped out.

About the $5/2 Neutrogena mq. It says "Neutrogena Hair, Hand , Body or Mens product"
I got all excited about hearing ppl getting the Original soap bars because DH uses those but now I'm not sure if the mq mentioned above is intended for them. So I checked the Neutrogena website:
- the regular (black stripe) and the acne bars says "facial"
- the "naturals" bar says "face and body" and is under the "body" section

usually I would say "my face is a part of my body sir/mam" but seeing Neutrogena makes the distinction then I'm just wondering if I have a leg to stand on at Wags (well or at T, WM, etc for that matter).

eta: other question on that q..it doesn't exclude TTS. Isn't there some of those tinny Neutrogena Rainbath somewhere..and by that I'm thinking WM

The EHN says: After a few extreme soda binges—not too far from what many gamers regularly consume—a few patients have needed medical attention for skin lesions, memory loss and nerve disorders, all symptoms of overexposure to bromine. Other studies suggest that BVO could be building up in human tissues, just like other brominated compounds such as flame retardants. In mouse studies, big doses caused reproductive and behavioral problems. As if we needed more reason to learn that soda is terrible for us.

That's exactly why it's still sitting in my fridge. LOL .... I refuse to drink anything of that sort. But...it makes great "trading material" with my sister in law who seems not to care what she puts in her body.

I think the older you get, the more you pay attention to these things, I'm in my early 30's and I'm fairly choicy what goes into my body & the body of my children.

Hum I never did get my points back, and I also have had voids before and they were automatically showing online. The only difference is I never redeemed points and had a void. I was only earning points or it wasn't points related at all. I do know it said void and not return I am sure on those voids. I have also had returns, where I just returned a few things and rebought something else, and it does say return. I am beginning to wonder if the void is messed up somehow like abczoo says.


This is what happened I bought a $25 order including Nice cheese sticks. I forgot to scan my PS club card, and know you can't enter the receipts online anymore and don't want to call CS for to have them entered. So I asked the boy if I could return the cheese sticks and rebuy the two boxes and use my PS card. Instead of refunding the money he returned them and tried to rebuy them in the same transaction and of course since the total was $0 I couldn't scan my PS card before the receipt came out. So I think the cashier voided that, but I don't know what he was doing. He then got confused and called the manager who post voided the whole sale (on the first receipt supposedly) instead of just returning the cheese sticks and letting me rebuy. So we had to ring the whole thing over with coupons and all. I got charged again, and my points were taken twice. On line all I see is a return which was 0 which I guess is what the cashier did. Even the balance rewards lady could see that one and see that it was for returning and rebuying the cheese sticks at once. She could not see the void and said the store would have to fix this since they took my 5000 points and gave me nothing in return. She said that I wouldn't see the void online anyway, which like abczoo said I know is not true now that I think about it, as I have had voids and they say void online.
