I think this would be a great outlet to post our concerns, rants, etc.....on our WAGS experiences due to low stock, new ECers, & S&Gers.

For what it's worth I do believe that low stock is more of an issue than S&Gers, but they and new ECers are definitely playing a huge role in the issues that we are all encountering. Frown

Please...don't remind me of the last 2 years in the test market. I'm still trying to recover.

I'm almost embracing the thought of a card because I need to stop spending so much time in Walgreens. I rarely go to CVS (4x's a yr) because of the card so I'll spend most of my time in Target & I will also have more time to read books. Smilie
I'm new to wags, so missed the test market reviews etc. Why is a loyalty card not good? Is it because of limits?

NOW, if he's released this week - how many Wags can I find with any NE or Aleve (which I REALLY need)? Big Grin
Poor son, I can hear the tires screeching out the hospital drive... "c'mon kid we're hitting Wags". laugh out loud

<snip> It appears only a handful of NE and Similisan were sold so far this week. Aleve, I went to 5 stores tonight, and all had at least 5 boxes of each type.

Will be thinking about ya.
This area didn't get the MQ and on Sunday it looked like the typical order was 12 per store. Monday though, I went a different direction and hit about 6 stores in a row with none at all. It would irritate the heck out of me to pay $5-$8 for 20 coupons, get them on Sat. and not find any product, so I'll be happy with what I got!

The test market mostly got points applied to their card and you could turn the points into items. Biggest problem was if the non-test area got say a $5RR, the test market only got the equivalent of a $2.50RR in points.

Oh, bless your heart. So sorry to hear you are dealing with this. hug

I can tell you, I had an AM check inventory for all the stores in my area. There's still over 150 NE on the shelf within about a 15 mile radius. I'm ordering more coupons now, as I just can't leave those on the shelf. It appears only a handful of NE and Similisan were sold so far this week. Aleve, I went to 5 stores tonight, and all had at least 5 boxes of each type.

Hmmm rougly 12hours to indiana or 6 to atlantic city... decisions decisions laugh out loud

Wag is going to roll out the loyalty card in Sept. So those in the former test market can tell how bad it will get to be.

Don't know if anything will change from the pilot of the three markets, but will update with info when I can.
Ewwwwww.. Thanks for the info, even if it is bad news...

Not to mention that Nice! is a pathetically stupid name -- in this day and age no one should ever put out a product name that can't be Googled and come back with hits that are substantially only for the product line/company.

google: nice cheese or nice! cheese

You'll see what I mean

it makes you wonder if they made it almost impossible to find reviews of their products because they want to hide poor quality or whether they were just underscoring the poor quality of management decisions by obfuscating the ability to find good reviews of the products.

That was a huge step backward -- and makes the customer feel stupid about asking for any of the products in the store -- "hi, I'm looking for some nice toilet paper"

Wags needed to come up with a recognizable brand name -- and Nice isn't it.
I agree.. They definitely dropped the ball on that one. I always wonder how company's advertising departments come up with stupid names. I am sure it is a group who decides on the name, then multiple people probably decide whether it is appropriate.. How did no one catch that a generic name such as "nice" would bring back a zillion hits in a google search with 95% of them - NOT being associated with the Wags product?

There are signs in the windows here "welcome Cigna customers". I don't know how large an insurance plan that is, but I guess Wags is trying to replace ES.
I guess they're trying to combat CVS' large banners across multiple doors/facets of their building advertising ES...but the reason the banners came into play is because Wags --- one of their biggest competitors -- no longer accepts ES's... but I bet CVS accepts Cigna too.. so the signage is pointless.. IMO.. but I guess Wags is punting..trying a last ditch effort to bring up their pharmacy sales.

Thanks for your posts, teasing, jokes, "nerdvana," light-heartedness, berry bushes, snarkiness, things that make me blush - ALL of it!
This SD Drugstore forum (notice to member thread, Target, Wags, Kroger, Safeway) has, once again, been my relief valve, my diversion time. heart

DS (special needs, severe epilepsy) is in ICU. He will recover and come home with us again . . . this time. (Thank You, Lord!)

But I do appreciate, and am blessed by, this forum when I have time/need to be distracted for a bit.
As many of you have experienced, the "illness" itself is only a portion of the struggle of a hospitalization.
I seriously wonder, question, am scared for patients who have no advocates to monitor the (incorrect) medication, protocol, tests ordered, etc.
(After a very long day of no communication, I did get an apology today from the neurosurgeon. Yea, Mom!)

NOW, if he's released this week - how many Wags can I find with any NE or Aleve (which I REALLY need)? Big Grin
Oh dear..hugComfort hug I am so sorry, UsinQs.. Please let us know when he's released and how things go after that... You're too kind of a person to have to deal with this. Sometimes life is so unfair.

As far as the last question, I am not sure of the answer. I haven't even made it out this week to Wags.. but even though the foot is NOT healed (I wrote heeled at first on accident but corrected it, ironic? lol)... I am going out to check things out... Will let you know what it looks like in my neck of the woods... hug

Oooh, that's what I need to do! I need to ignore the thread - duh!! (head slap) I'm so frustrated and annoyed that they've allowed that post to stay even with asking for them to delete it as it's derailed into what seems to be a personal whinefest and attempt to ruin all of the "community" we have on the DS thread. Ugh!

Wow, I didn't know Willie Nelson wrote "Crazy"...I love Willie!
"In my Life" always gets me teary eyed.
I'd rather limit myself than have the store tell me how many of a certain item I can buy. The exception would be M&M's, in which case I think that I need a limit.

I went to a Willie Nelson book signing at Borders a few years back. He was also scheduled to play a song by himself. Instead, he brought his band and did a 2 hour concert for free and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. He will always be tops in my book (and I don't even like country music).

Yeah, it sort of ruined what I assume was raddish's purpose - to provide for a more friendly "community" - derailed is a great word for it..... and it is never ending... Oh well, it is gone from my screen, so I can't see the mess anymore..

I should have used my iggy yesterday... I really don't recall in all my years here ever using it... but it was easy peasy and I feel a lot better now... Big Grin

You're an expert hand sitter.. <---- EEK! Not sure that was the appropriate jargon.. laugh out loud but you're so good at being the peace-maker!!

I am not so great about sitting on my hands unfortunately.. Ermm which is why ignore was almost mandatory for me...hopefully the thread will die eventually, although it appears it is dying a slowwwwwwwwww, painful death. OMG

OMGolly!! I've got it!! I know how to fix that crapping mess of a thread! We need to post a counterpost to it and create a thread to say thank you to all the people who help and share on this thread and foster such a great sense of community!! Whiners and naysayers need not apply.

Good idea...because I can think of a few contributors who have had their feelings hurt by people who criticized the way they shared their information, especially if it was a YMMV-type situation and the deal didn't work for them, etc... The negativity just causes us all to lose out on deals when contributors get offended and don't bother next time around.. I dunno, a thread like that does seem to be in order, but maybe allow things to cool down a little, especially since I think negative posts will likely show up and it will end up being a repeat of the "community" thread..... People are on edge right now and it might make things worse.. but definitely a good idea in the future!

You're so smart and awesome, my sweet bailey heart..
