Thread Details

I think this would be a great outlet to post our concerns, rants, etc.....on our WAGS experiences due to low stock, new ECers, & S&Gers.

For what it's worth I do believe that low stock is more of an issue than S&Gers, but they and new ECers are definitely playing a huge role in the issues that we are all encountering. Frown

Geez, I had planned to spend quite a while in WAGs today; but, I expected to have a lot more to show for it. They are wearing me O U T.
The Verio was a huge gamble. Fav of the day, the cashier who got disgusted w/the register because she couldn't adjust the MQ to $19.99 and said "Guess you get $30 for it since that's what it wants to give you." Least fav was probably the shift lead who did 3 total voids before declaring that the meter just needed to be rung separately, then price modified it to $30 so the MQ would scan and the pts threshold was still met.
Had a BA tell me that Wags had a firm auditing their coupons and returning to the store unpaid the Qs that didn't match the products sold or exceeded the product price.
i can any store doing that to some degree, but at store level is going to cost significantly more to the company.

I had managed to do the Verio deal 3 times in the last couple of weeks but was refused last week by a cashier that SWEARS her cousin was fired from the store an hour away for accepting and manually inputting the Verio MQ.

I don't know if I believe her though because she's kind of a drama queen about coupons all the time anyway. She freaked when I asked her to change the EZ meter coupon to $8.49 (that was the price it rang up with the military discount). She called the manager and made her promise that if she got in trouble with LP or anyone else, the manager would take the fall for it.

Yeah I don't know. I've had three separate stores all from different towns check me out and in each case it auto'd for the full amount, then they removed it and manually entered. It then auto'd again as usual and in each case they called the manager. EACH manager stated that since it auto's and that it's not an "up to" coupon they would get reimbursed the full amount and that was the end of it.

I've bought many over the last 2 weeks starting on day one and the same managers get called and they are still fine with it. nod

For those who dont pre order (still haven't built a relationship with a manager like me), are you going to a 24 hour wednesday (after midnight) or go to a store right when they open thursday morning? I'm thinking about going wednesday night bc less customers so less huffing and puffing lol

Totally off topic, but does anyone know the range of a decent router? I know we have some computer folks here. A pm would be fine.

of course LMAO but I shop at 2am every week.

I tried to convince everyone to move thanksgiving to Saturday but they weren't having any of that nonsense. I don't think the day of the week means anything but fine ~sigh~

It depends on the location, walls, interference etc., every situation is going to be different.

I think there's been a recent update to the registers again and with that update the cashiers have been given a lecture of some sort.

Everytime I bought an EZ this week, they would not adjust the coupon or meter without first calling a manager. Most have opted for changing the meter to $10 to make the coupon go straight through because they're afraid of the register sending red flags for the higher dollar manual input.

When you run into the same type of conversation across several stores, you have to figure something is up.

Last Sat., I had an EZ, 4 Neos and Revlon. She change the meter to $10 scanned the coupon, scanned two Neo coupons and third coupon knocked out the meter coupon. Then the register wouldn't even take the Revlon coupon. Tried a few different ways and the register would knock out or refuse the coupon. Finally ended up manually entering about $12 in MQs.

Last night I was using a $10RR, Revlon and four Centrum coupons. Register would only take two Centrum coupons period. After she scanned the $10RR, it wouldn't take the Revlon coupon. Scanning the RR last did allow the Revlon, but only two Centrum still.

Second store, basically same transaction and two Hefty bags with a $1.50 coupon and the register wouldn't take the Hefty coupon or two of the Centrums again.

I don't know... if they want to give the cashiers a hard time about too many manually entered coupons, then the registers seriously need some more programming. Funny thing is it seems like lately I'm running into more and more at Publix too.

Can't decide. There is a 24 hour WAGs that opened about a year ago Maybe two miles from me but its immediate area is dicey. The store is across the street from a 24 hour pawn shop, a medical marijuana clinic -- the porn shop closed recently but it does not look like the pros have left the area.

I am a early morning person but that store is best in daylight or early evening.

catching up with the thread.. and want to mention that at my home store AM has been ordering about 10 of the verios a week and buying them. he got approval from the SM. also says that LP has been in almost every day, and not one word about it.

at a another store, that is new to me, they never heard of such a thing as 'reducing the coupon'. they were afraid to adjust because they were never told. when they looked at the written policy, they were shocked. they said they would inquire about it, but wouldn't adjust it. at another wags about 15 mins away, AM didn't blink an eye and adjusted without question.

nod I'll be there for BF, which has me a little nervous since I've never couponed or even stepped foot in a FL WAGS. Luckily y'all have a ton of stores, so I'm hoping to go on an all day excursion. laugh out loud

Thanks for the info (will rep you in another thread)..looks like ill have to be on my A game. I should have enough time when I arrive to do some recon before Weds night. Big Grin Luckily, I got my wags booklets from my store up here since I wasn't sure if they'd be available down there. If you're going to be in the Winter Park area, shoot me a PM. hug

I'm 45 min. away from the Winter Park area. So if everybody stays in Orlando it's all good Big Grin. My wild guess is that this year not that many will be out getting the deals because of the stupid card.
