Thread Details

I think this would be a great outlet to post our concerns, rants, etc.....on our WAGS experiences due to low stock, new ECers, & S&Gers.

For what it's worth I do believe that low stock is more of an issue than S&Gers, but they and new ECers are definitely playing a huge role in the issues that we are all encountering. Frown

Kudos to you for figuring all of that out and then offering the information to others. But I think it's total BULLSH*T that any of us are having to do this much planning, math or strategizing prior to shopping.

It's insane!
If they keep it up, someone out there will start offering online degrees in Wagging.

Anyone who did Kotex Movie Cash know of a way to convert them into movie gift cards or something that doesn't expire?

I remember a while ago people were doing Fandango with something but their minimum giftcards are now $15 so no dice since the Movie Cash is only for $10 each.

Last time I had a bunch of movie cash I called the local theater and talked to the manager. The manager had me purchase tickets online for a movie and then converted those tickets, for the movie I didn't see, into anytime tickets. They were happy for the revenue and I was glad to have tickets without expiration.

It depends on your movie theater mgr . I bought movie bucks booklets ($20 value) with 2013 expiration dates , with my movie cash but I bought them at the concession with movie cash that was allowed to be used on movies or concessions.

Can't do it with movie money that can only be used on movie tickets.

Update: Ugh. They say off Movie so cant be redeemed for movie bucks. We have over $150 we need to spend by the 31st. I would have never remembered that we had movie cash. Hubby has the movie cash saved to pdf on his laptop . I just asked him today if we had any kotex movie cash and hit face turned white.
OOPS

I got 20 or so of them. No time lately to even see any movies Frown
I am gonna attempt to go in person to the box offices (on the list of participating theaters [emoviecash.com]) and just ask nicely to buy $10 giftcards. The transaction should go through fine if you can find a willing employee to do it.
Last resort is see about 3 or 4 movies before the new year, and then buy as many advance tickets for upcoming movies after the new year a week or 2 out.

Or you could get real creative buy tickets to a hot movie(and timeslot) and "scalp" in front of the theater on the date for a slight discount ;p

Now you can't give Scope away. I'm thinking it's the new bottle that makes the mouthwash look murky. Nobody wants to buy murky mouthwash..
Wish we could arrange a trade as I can't get my hands on enough Scope. Dontknow

Wow, whoda thunk Maalox. When was that last amazing Maalox deal where we had to buy 6 at a time?
I remember that deal well. Those Qs came out late Jan./early Feb. 2011 and I believe the fabo Wags monthly deal was either March or April. Great times!

Quick, two-part question: Are contact lenses sold in the pharmacy or are they only available online? If the latter, can they be picked up in store and paid for with points? TIA.

I have really come to like the points at Wags. I like how they don't expire, helping to relieve some headaches of having to roll RRs on crappy sales. And I like them because they seem to have thinned out Wags from many of the weekend blog warriors. Of course, if Wags ever completely eliminates RRs, that's a different story.

All gone. It took me forever to get rid of them even at a ridiculously low price.
