I think this would be a great outlet to post our concerns, rants, etc.....on our WAGS experiences due to low stock, new ECers, & S&Gers.

For what it's worth I do believe that low stock is more of an issue than S&Gers, but they and new ECers are definitely playing a huge role in the issues that we are all encountering. Frown

About Staples:

Rewards do not roll. BUT you can use rewards and/or store coupons on easy rebates, and get back full amount.

I too did 2 of the Computer Paper and 1 of the Photo paper and used the 5/25 last week at Staples for the MM. On a side note, my $25 Duracell Rebate came back. It only took two weeks to process! bounce Have enough free batteries to last me a year. I'm also really loving this Free After Rewards storage boxes/totes/etc. Been wanting more boxes to help me organize all this crap I get from Wags/CVS/RA. Plus I plan to use the rewards to get a tablet soon. If you hit premier, buy the cheap ink cartridges and recycle (20 month, easy $40), and thats minus any type of double/triple recycling promo.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a coupon coded to start on a certain day? I thought I'd seen somewhere in the past few months that someone mentioned they got a coupon early and the register wouldn't take it and said something about the date.

I'm asking because yesterday I used the Bic BOGO coupon that came in today's paper at Wag on the BIC Comfort Plus 3 and the BIC Soleil razors and the register would not accept it and it had to be manually input. I used that coupon first to make sure there were no conflicts and it beeped every single time in 4 trxns so I gave up. PixieSaver posted in another thread that she used it today on the same razors and had no beeps.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
For me it didn't beep because I used it Sunday, not Saturday. But even if it's coded to start 1/06, it doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon that I'm aware of.

Last night, on 1/5, I used a $1/1 Clairol Q from the 1/6 RP (at RiteAid) and it beeped that it wasn't valid until 1/6. They let me use it anyway because it didn't state on the coupon that it had a certain start date, only an expiration. This just might be a sign of things to come.

Way OT but....

Is there a thread about how to do this with Staples? I've never looked much into Staples/Office Depot stuff bc I thought the rewards didn't convert well. I teach & can always use more deals on things like paper, pencils, ink, etc.

We can talk about it right here. Smilie

I don't have Office Depot. Sadwalk

I have OfficeMax but haven't ventured in and have been doing Staples pretty heavy the past year. They've converted fine for me when I stay on top of it and lots of useful items.

It would seem like a great fit for you. Feel free to pm me. I'll trade my knowledge for some of your pamphlets. Smilie I'm trying to get to the Premier thing this year, so much more oop and it takes about 60-90 days to get it back, but hopefully the deals will stick around and it won't be too bad.

If you want to just be regular status and return the 10 carts a month you can make a little and get quite a bit of stuff. Lots of copy paper and photo paper. Those seem to be the 2 favorite easy rebates.

You just need to make sure you convert your rewards to easy rebates and use cash or a gc for the ones that are reward deals.

This week I have a $5/$25 for OM in my paper and can use that as a competitor coupon, so that gives a little mm on the easy rebate items

I don't do Staples as it is not convenient for me to get there but I do have Office Depot and Office Max fairly close. I prefer Office Max.

Office Depot - you cannot roll the rewards and there is something like a 3-month expiration on the rewards.

Office Max - the rewards can roll - I can use the reward $ to buy other items that are also giving rewards. They have some great items around "start-of-school" season, like $100 backpacks and computer bags. They give me a year to use up the rewards. This week, I'm going to have to go for the box of paper if nothing else - $46.xx OOP but you'll get all but 1 cent of that in rewards.

Office Depot is definitely the place with the most freebies this week! They had a whole page of "free after rewards" items but I just don't know that I have the $ to go OOP like that right now....

Also, if you decide to order online, you can go to Office Depot through mypoints.com and get points.

I thought the paper deal was at office max not office depot...Scratchhead...I was thinking about getting the paper but wasn't sure if it would work in an inkjet printer? Thanks for the info though!

Does Office Max and/or Office Depot have something similar to Staple's Easy Rebate? Thats the big selling point for me...the easy rebates for staples.

I do not recall any. OD does do the free software (after rebate, and they are NOT easy!!) with tax software. That reminds me, is staples still doing the same software offer? Looking for a few AV titles to get free with tax software. I do like the EASY rebates Smilie

Office Max does not. Really the only way to truly cash out is to spend rewards on something you can sell.

But, their Rewards do roll, which is nice, so if you keep rolling, you've got little to no OOP, and a good bit of useful stuff to boot.

The previous poster that said OM Rewards are good for a year must live in a "special" state (FL I think, and maybe a couple others have extended expiration dates). OM Rewards normally expire 3 months from the month issued.

Reps are back...for now. Stick Out Tongue I owe loads of gratitude to everyone that got me where I am! Read the *NEW* CVS FAQ and post your questions there. Let's keep the deal threads deal-related, please.
Would it kill you to read the wiki? Or to read the thread? All the experts got to where they are by reading...you can too.

Yes, you're right! It is Office Max for the paper but loads of other things at Office Depot this week.

You are correct...FL. And, now that you mention it, I recall seeing that it was longer in FL. Strange that whatever law that makes OM to give us a year doesn't extend to OD.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of this deal. I really needed paper. This way I won't freak out with everything teachers ask my kids to print and my printed coupons don't seem so expensive!

I was buying the (free) batteries at Office Max one day and they have reams of paper near the registers that they try to push - "It's on sale for $4.99" or some such thing. I just laughed and told them I'd wait "till you're giving it away to me for free again." Smilie

I have no idea where the post went but I know I saw someone post yesterday about receiving some Wags coupons (IVC's) in the mail. Was it Claudia???

Anyhow, I received the same coupons in my mail today so keep your eyes peeled for them. Whee

I haven't received anything but do these have numbers we can give the ba's? We could end up with a nice little list if they are sending out different ones.
