I think this would be a great outlet to post our concerns, rants, etc.....on our WAGS experiences due to low stock, new ECers, & S&Gers.

For what it's worth I do believe that low stock is more of an issue than S&Gers, but they and new ECers are definitely playing a huge role in the issues that we are all encountering. Frown

I swear that even when you have a coupon $1/2 that you still have a slot for a RR with the second item right? Or did I just dream that up? I have been having such a hard time with cashiers lately.

I think it still depends on how the coupon is coded. With the old barcode we can tell how its coded (for 1 or 2 items), but with the GS1 barcodes, can't tell.

This is one of those stories that should make me upset, but almost makes me laugh...

So I stopped at Wags tonight, looking for some of the Chloraseptic. Found 4 on the shelf and thought, awesome! I have a bunch of coupons for it, so I guess I'll just grab all 4. I normally limit myself to 2, max 3, of the same item per store, but I know that they're on short supply around town, since I've only been able to find 2 total before tonight. Anyways! I walk up to checkout and it wasn't busy, but they did have two checkouts open at least. I thought, great, at least I won't hold up a line. Normally I check out in cosmetics, but the BA was MIA tonight! As I get to the registers there was one person at each register and another lady in line who kept swaying back and forth between each line, refusing to pick one. Finally I was like this is ridiculous and just picked her line for her lol. I set my things on the counter and the cashier asks if I found everything okay and I said "yes, thanks, and is it okay if I do these in separate transactions?" as I'm handing him the $2 IVC he goes "sure that's fine...oh but are you just doing it for this coupon because you don't have to do them separately then" and I said "oh no, you get a register reward for buying it" and he said "okay". So he does transaction #1 and crumples up the IVC and throws it in the trash and I say "ooo, I was hoping to use that same one on each transaction". Rather than dig it out he just grabs the book and starts looking and I remembered it was on page 34 so I said "I think it's on page 34 if that helps" and sure enough, found it right away. Next 2 transactions go just fine, but of course now there are 2 people in line behind me and no one in line behind the one customer at the other register (just my luck). So cashier scans the last transaction: rewards card, item, MQ...hits payment key. BOO! He looks at me and goes "you can't use this coupon, I already hit the payment key, it's too late" I just kind of look at him like 'you're kidding, right' and he goes "come on man, just pay for it" and I just keep looking like you're seriously joking with me and then he goes "you're still getting the register reward, just pay for it" and I start to say "can't you..." and he finally calls the manager. Cashier was pissed. I finally said "I'm sorry, normally I'd check out in cosmetics but there wasn't anyone around", well about 2 seconds later, literally 2 seconds, BA comes up to the checkouts and says "I can ring up someone in cosmetics, there's no one in line" and I just think FML! Manager voids, cashier hands me my bag and won't even look at me or say a word to me. Whatever. I sometimes feel like it's easier to plan for hours and hours on the transactions than it is to spend 2 minutes in line at the register dealing with a jerk of a cashier. Just makes me feel better to get it all out.

Comfort no laughing.. just hugs .. okay I laughed a little when you said FML because I imagined myself in your shoes. Really that guy knew how to do the previous trannies...but just zoned out that fast to screw up this one Facepalm. After I get all stressed out and she says "you know can always check out with me". Now, if I don't see one...I get someone to call her. I don't do many trannies as I always have a couple kids w/ me and they have no patience for my deals LMAO. They can also check you out in Photo if you have that but really, I seriously just get someone to call a "BA" to open the cosmetics counter. The thing is, then other people will just walk around and see her open...then I feel bad again and let them go. Now cue to DS1.5 crying for something to snack one, play with or just escape the cart and run around the store.

Btw, WBBell I think said that if payment key was hit and no qs were scanned/typed in they can go back somehow to scanning stuff. I think...I'm sick so don't hold me to it if I am just hallucinating Embarrassment

I saw a few weeks ago someone posted how to locate the order numbers of the specific products to be able to give to our stores for pre-order purpose. I poked around on the website with a product and didn't see any specific numbers for a product. Would someone be so kind as to share this info again? Thank you so much!

WAIT... MAYBE!!! Is it the Item Code under the shipping tab?

Thank you! One other question... if the item is not listed on Walgreens.com yet, what is the process to come up with an item number? Is there a way to look it up or do you just have to hope the store can find it? TIA!

Very strange. Try updating your browser? Clearing cookies? It works fine for me on Google Chrome.

Yeah, I get really annoyed when COS isn't open. If anything goes wrong, it's less stress to deal with it there.

I have had that happen where they hit the payment key and then think it's no big thing to ask you to pay and just use your unscanned Q/RR for something else. That is so ridiculous, it drives me nuts. I feel like it is never my problem if their stupid system works like that. I always make them do the void - some managers are fairly nice about it, tho Smilie

COS is cosmetics?

You'd be waiting a long time here, as I've only ever seen someone on the cosmetics register during a Saturdate event.

LOL, yes, the managers keep referring to it at COS, not sure why they thought I'd know that.

I guess I really do shop mostly weekends and there usually seems to be a BA around. I hate having to go looking for them, makes me look like I am demanding a higher level of attention.

Seems like most of my stores don't have a BA at night, or they have one person who covers the register but is usually not even there (off stocking, or something). I would have thought evenings were a 'busy' time where they would need that register.

I make sure to do a lot of surveys to let wags know how much I like the BAs Smilie
Tn_native, do they have the signs all over the personal care aisles saying you must purchase at the beauty register?

I've never seen a sign like that at wags.
Truthfully, I've only seen the cash register in cosmetics manned three times and I usually only shop on a Saturday.
