Thread Details

I think this would be a great outlet to post our concerns, rants, etc.....on our WAGS experiences due to low stock, new ECers, & S&Gers.

For what it's worth I do believe that low stock is more of an issue than S&Gers, but they and new ECers are definitely playing a huge role in the issues that we are all encountering. Frown

happened to me too but i insisted she check her screen because i knew i had points and she made it prompt for point redemp.
I have had this happen several times as well. One time the cashier insisted I had to swipe my card before the points screen would appear. Funny part is, I was paying in cash. So I said, I don't have a card. Now what do we do? Then he suddenly "remembered" how to make the points screen pop up. I usually act like i have no idea how to pay if I can't use my points and the cashiers freak out enough that they will have to void the sale that the training on the register resurfaces in the brain. That's my opinion anyway.

Haven't seen anything on the Mountain Dew product, but there's a new Starbucks called "Iced Coffee" that is an (11 oz) bottle - will be FARR at $.99 on 3/17. 4 different varieties.
Another Starbucks fiasco in the making??? I hope they have their act together this time. Anyone know if this has to be refrigerated or is it shelf stable. I have wondered on some of these coffees that are shelf stable - once they are refrigerated do they have to stay refrigerated?

how are returns handled if i used a $5 off 20 coupon, coupons for the item, and RR's to pay? Is the 5 off 20 going to affect the amount i get refunded back?
The RR should not affect as it comes off a total not a specific item. The $5 off $20 takes off of every item in your trannny. So yes the $5 off $20 will affect the amount of money you will get back, look at your receipt. What does it say you paid for specific item? That's what you should get back if returned.

yes, the points redeemed pop up screen has been wacky lately

cashier needs to hit payment, then redeem points

I, personally, am tired of craning my neck around to see their screen to tell them what to do...LOL

For me, they all just turn the screen, so we both can view, and I can tell them what to hit. Kind of tells ya. . .not many every day customers are redeeming points.

I think pwcpal hit the nail on the head. I actually had the same thing happen yesterday, was told that if the PIN pad didn't prompt me to redeem points, then I must not have enough to redeem. Told the guy I had XXX,000 points and really felt like I could handle spending 5,000 today. Normally I suppress the snark, but it slipped out. Big Grin

disclaimer.. not trying to start a fight ...doin' some learnin'

About the $5/2 Neutrogena mq. It says "Neutrogena Hair, Hand , Body or Mens product"
I got all excited about hearing ppl getting the Original soap bars because DH uses those but now I'm not sure if the mq mentioned above is intended for them. So I checked the Neutrogena website:
- the regular (black stripe) and the acne bars says "facial"
- the "naturals" bar says "face and body" and is under the "body" section

usually I would say "my face is a part of my body sir/mam" but seeing Neutrogena makes the distinction then I'm just wondering if I have a leg to stand on at Wags (well or at T, WM, etc for that matter).

eta: other question on that q..it doesn't exclude TTS. Isn't there some of those tinny Neutrogena Rainbath somewhere..and by that I'm thinking WM LMAO

thank you all hug

Oh, I've read about this new Mountain Dew thing. It's characterized as an "breakfast drink" - alternative to coffee or tea, or Red Bull Big Grin

That's interesting that they've recruited Wags to promote it.

I received a Q. for a free one from Speedway (gas station) in my e-mail. Valid for the month of March. Will have to read the ingredients in it before I try it.

I'm sure some of you know this already, some may not or not even care, but since I found this out, I quit drinking these beverages.

Mountain Dew. The oh so sweet is it yellow? is it green? nectar of the geek gods and fuel for gamers has flame retardant in it. Yup. Mountain Dew, along with 10 percent of sodas in the US, contains brominated vegetable oil (BVO), a flame retardant chemical banned in Europe and Japan. The flame retardant, BVO, is currently listed as an ingredient in various citrus soft drinks such as: Mountain Dew, Squirt, Fanta Orange, Sunkist Pineapple, Gatorade Thirst Quencher Orange, Powerade Strawberry Lemonade and Fresca Original Citrus. But why and what for? According to the Environmental Health News, BVO contains "bromine atoms which weigh down the citrus flavoring so it mixes with sugar water" instead of floating to the top. Basically, BVO gives soda more consistent flavoring. That sounds good! But BVO is also added to polystyrene foam cushions in furniture and plastics in electronics because BVO can slow down the chemical reactions that cause a fire. Yuck. Is that what we want to be drinking? So how the hell if BVO is banned in foods in Europe and Japan, does BVO still exist here? Well, back in 1977, the FDA set what they thought was a "safe" limit for BVO in sodas and soda companies have been allowed to use BVO ever since. Seriously! That's the only reason! Scientists believe that the data the FDA looked at in the 1970s is outdated (ya think?) and that BVO needs a closer look. The EHN says:
After a few extreme soda binges—not too far from what many gamers regularly consume—a few patients have needed medical attention for skin lesions, memory loss and nerve disorders, all symptoms of overexposure to bromine. Other studies suggest that BVO could be building up in human tissues, just like other brominated compounds such as flame retardants. In mouse studies, big doses caused reproductive and behavioral problems.
As if we needed more reason to learn that soda is terrible for us.

That's exactly why it's still sitting in my fridge. LOL .... I refuse to drink anything of that sort. But...it makes great "trading material" with my sister in law who seems not to care what she puts in her body.

I think the older you get, the more you pay attention to these things, I'm in my early 30's and I'm fairly choicy what goes into my body & the body of my children.

I am missing aomething. I accidentally redeemed 40000 points on a 40 transaction last week. Realized what i did and they voided it and i redid it. My points were / are fine. I didnt lose anything?
Quote from chasingdealz View Post :
I have also had a post void done where I had redeemed points and I got my points back automatically . It did take till the next day though.
Quote from LoveToRA View Post :
Mine too was a void. She took me to the BA counter, but had to run over to the register I had checked out on to do the void. But the description of it on my activity says return.
Quote from gypsylady View Post :
I'm not sure why some people are not losing their points, but I Iost my points for sure. I just checked my balance on line and they are gone. I am short 5000 points. Don't forget this was a post voided receipt not a return. If they had returned just some of the items on my receipt then I would not have lost my points, it is because she voided it. I should have 669,000, but I only have 664,000. I started with 674,000 and used 5,000. She voided the transaction and rerang everything, and I had to redeem 5000 points again, or pay $5. I redeemed, without getting anything for my first points. Not sure why this is different for anyone else as the balance reward people say you won't get your points back with a total void. A partial return is different so I don't understand.

Maybe I will check later in the day and see if my points are back, since others have posted that they showed up later, but if this is the case the balance reward supervisors are not aware of this. I wish everyone would get on the same page with this.
Quote from gypsylady View Post :
Not sure, as the transaction still shows online and no return shows for it. However I will be checking later, and if I see the points come back, +5000 somewhere today, I will call balance rewards again and get the story, so they don't call and bother the store. Otherwise the balance reward lady said she was off today and would fix it Friday.

Quote from abczoo View Post :

I have also had transactions voided and the points are returned to my account. A void makes it like the transaction never even happened. It won't show RETURN on your BR car account activity, it will say VOID.

If it doesn't show the void them maybe it wasn't actually voided? The only other thing I can think of is that it will show the void after they run the end of day stuff.... but I thought it showed in the account activity right away.

Hum I never did get my points back, and I also have had voids before and they were automatically showing online. The only difference is I never redeemed points and had a void. I was only earning points or it wasn't points related at all. I do know it said void and not return I am sure on those voids. I have also had returns, where I just returned a few things and rebought something else, and it does say return. I am beginning to wonder if the void is messed up somehow like abczoo says.

This is what happened I bought a $25 order including Nice cheese sticks. I forgot to scan my PS club card, and know you can't enter the receipts online anymore and don't want to call CS for to have them entered. So I asked the boy if I could return the cheese sticks and rebuy the two boxes and use my PS card. Instead of refunding the money he returned them and tried to rebuy them in the same transaction and of course since the total was $0 I couldn't scan my PS card before the receipt came out. So I think the cashier voided that, but I don't know what he was doing. He then got confused and called the manager who post voided the whole sale (on the first receipt supposedly) instead of just returning the cheese sticks and letting me rebuy. So we had to ring the whole thing over with coupons and all. I got charged again, and my points were taken twice. On line all I see is a return which was 0 which I guess is what the cashier did. Even the balance rewards lady could see that one and see that it was for returning and rebuying the cheese sticks at once. She could not see the void and said the store would have to fix this since they took my 5000 points and gave me nothing in return. She said that I wouldn't see the void online anyway, which like abczoo said I know is not true now that I think about it, as I have had voids and they say void online.

Will it be a hassle using the $1 off Starbucks coupons on the upcoming Starbucks iced coffee since they're only 99c?
