Loaded ASUS U30SD-XA1 13.3" Laptop: i5-2410M 2.3GHz, 4GB DDR3, 500GB, Nvidia GT 520M 1GB, 8-Cell, WiDi, Win 7 + Xbox 360 4GB console $799 FS @ Amazon Student
Amazon [amazon.com] has the ASUS U30SD-XA1 13.3-Inch Thin and Light (Ultra-portable) Laptop for $799.96 with free shipping.
Deal is available to Amazon Student users ONLY.
Get a free Xbox 360 Slim 4GB console with your purchase by adding the laptop to cart through here [amazon.com]. (3 down, 4 to the right)
Specs
Intel Core i5-2410M Processor (2.3 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz)
4GB of DDR3 1333MHz DRAM
Nvidia 520M 1GB DDR3 Graphics Card
500GB Hard Drive (5400 RPM, amazon has the specs wrong)
13.3-Inch HD (1366x768) LED Display
HDMI & VGA Ports
Wireless 802.11 b/g/n + Intel WiDi
SuperMulti DVD drive
4.5 lbs with 8 cell battery (FIXED THE WEIGHT)
Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) Operating System
Laptop is similar to the hot Lenovo 13.3" this past weekend but has better specs, here are the differences:
NVIDIA GT 520M 1GB Vid Card vs HD 3000 Integrated Graphics
8-Cell Lithium ion vs 6-Cell
Intel WiDi
If you consider an Xbox 360 S to be worth $150 instead of the suggested $200 (deals have come up with $50 gift cards), then the net price for this asus is $650 shipped, $90 more for the above upgrades vs the lenovo.
However most people do not pay TAX at amazon, and DO pay tax through lenovo, so the gap becomes only a mere $30-$60 depending on which state you live in, pretty small price for a better laptop.
^ Just my two cents.
