The use of these statutes for "wiretapping" is outrageous, and if it were up to me, any prosecutor who brought a case like this or a judge who allowed it would be tried for treason and executed.
The fact is, the laws only prohibit recording someone who has a reasonable expectation of privacy. The idea that cops have ANY expectation of privacy while in public performing their official duties is preposterous.
