cosmofur@yahoo.com? Seriously? This is a scam just using Acurian's name, most likely connected to OP.

The link leads to Acurian, which is a legit company. They do surveys through ClearVoice, Surveyhead etc. Not sure what makes you think scam. I just checked the survey and it looks legit to me. I assume you used whois but where do you see it's a scam.

The site looks like it was made with a pagebuilder in less than five minutes, the only references to "Steven Back" are hits to other suspicious websites - none to Acurian itself, and no professional uses cosmofur@yahoo.com as an email address.

I'm saying Acurian is legit, but this site is not.

Did you actually click on the survey? The survey is legit. To call someone out that's a scam without proof isn't the best way. And Acurian does use yahoo email addresses when they post their studies. Maybe not all their studies but at least some of them do.

I clicked on the site; it's unprofessional. Using a Yahoo email address is unprofessional. Legit companies don't operate unprofessionally. But, hey, your choice Smilie

The company is legit, and I've received screeners from at least 10 different survey companies that they have brokered recently the highest payout being $10 from clear voice. The study that paid me the $10 was on depression, but it wasn't worth the 15 visits to Horsham, Pa at $50 a session. Not to me at least. I have to many hands in the pot as it is.

FWIW...I got thru a screener for Acurian before, made an appointment and showed up for it. They weren't keen to talk about compensation, I had to ask multiple times about it. In the end I cancelled the rest of my appointments as it just wasn't gonna work out. They sent me a $10 Starbucks gift card and said that I can sign up again if I wanted.

From what I read there might be several locations, so it might work out for you. Not sure about PA though. Maybe you can call and see if there are better locations for you.

The Acurian locations in PA are all on the eastern side of the State, that would be quite a commute for any of their studies. In fact Pittsburgh isn't great for research opportunities in general. There''s always the on-line studies that should work great for you.
