I was also invited to participate in this alcohol study, and I just received the follow-up email earlier this evening. This email contains the instructions you need in order to start participating. I have not worked with them before.

In the wiki of The Collaboratory's family project thread (found here), there is a warning not to choose PayPal as a payment option because of fees. This is why I'm concerned and hesitant to choose PayPal as my payment option.

I thought it was a great study but did you find some parts difficult? I really hope I have them everything they asked for. Just looking for feedback.

It was a great study. But it was also very detailed -- that's why they're paying us $200 for it. I think I gave them everything they asked for.
