If you want to discuss the pros/cons of shopping at Wal-Mart do that here.

Let's try to stay focused on any great deals to be had when you combine a coupon with a regular-priced item. YYMV on the actual prices at Wal-Mart but they should be fairly close. If your store has an item with a very different regular price, please put it in the Wiki so we can compare the price variations to see if this is even worth it. We may as well not even post clearanced items because that is definitley going to be widely different per store.

There is no weekly ad to work with so we're going to have to add things from what we see when we are there. So please keep an eye out when you're at Wal-Mart next for any hot deals.

Purina ONE Beyond:
16oz cat food is 2.57 (.43 overage)
3lb cat is 7.29
3.5lb dog is 6.48
was 7.29 when it came in so this may be temp pricing or rollback.
Can you get overage on this with the $3 Q? I was wondering because it says 1 pound free up to $3, or $3 off any size.

I bought a few boxes the other night, and I had to agree with them that the wording does say up to,so they would be right to credit me the actual amount of the product.

Good question ---
One I have actually emailed WM twice about now. If a q for a bogo item or "up to item" can be redeemed for the Full Value now that they are allowing for Full Value of q's. Over the last 16 days I have emailed 5 times now and have not heard back from anyone ---- WM must hate me --- Can't imagine why. Anyways maybe someone would have better luck in getting a response from them.
Ohhh and yes I am doing the corporate contact us/policy option.

Scotch magic tape... there is a new neon green dispenser that is $1.24, so .24 after the $1/1 pdf Q. All the other tape was ridiculously expensive and the selection was poor.

*snip*
I have a .55 Q for Scotch tape...where did you find the $1? TIA.

Well, I've had my first bad experience with Walmart since the new coupon policy. I went to use the $1.50/ Breathe Right Strips coupon on the size that has 2 strips in it and the mgr told me I couldn't use it because the picture showed them in a box and because they were a travel size. I said the coupon does not exclude travel sizes anywhere on the coupon and she said that it doesn't matter she won't take it. She was only doing that because she would have had to give me $11 back. The two cashiers said that it wasn't right because they would have to pay me and thats free money. I said you get reimbursed for the full face value of the coupon. I showed them all the new coupon policy which surprise surprise they had never seen or heard about. I finally got frustrated because she was being illogical and I said fine I will call corporate and see what they have to say but you are wrong and I walked out. This is also the same walmart that told me a year ago that I could not use any internet printables at all because they don't allow it....I called corp but they said that they would have the store manager call me back.

Not only does the coupon not exclude travel sizes, but this one explicitly says 12ct or SMALLER. They go out of their way to INCLUDE the trial size. The manager was way off base.

I have heard that they are coded for a cashier to enter the price.

I stand corrected. Although I think that it's an awful business plan. Albertson's and Rite Aid take RRs, though so Harhar Walmart!
Since when does RA take RR's?? Not in the last 3 years I've shopped there. If you've got a store accepting them, then they're not following policy as far as I know.

I am personally going to fax the Corporate office on Monday and ask them to reconsider and let them know that RA and Albertsons take RRs and how much business they are going to lose by not accepting them.

I am NOT arguing the point by saying this (I wasn't planning on using RRs at Walmart anyway), so:

I really think that they rushed this new version out because the wording seems hinkey to me. I am not contradicting anyone. I just think that if they meant RRs they'd have said it straight.

I never knew that Rite Aid accepts Wags RR?? If this true, I'd be in heart
