Paypal effects Credit Score? Recently Scammed.

paypal/ebay have the biggest monopoly in the world, wonder why they won't allow google checkout? Because they'd lose money hand over fist

Eventually they will go after you and it will reflect on your credit score. After enough time passes they hand it over to debt collectors who will make an attempt to collect, then pass on information to credit agencys. They have a valid claim to do this, the CC transaction is authorized, you authorize it when you add it to your account. If this was not enforced people would just paypal money to themselves and challenge the transactions to get free money. Paypal does make a lot of money charging people 0-3% commission on transaction amounts, but that is too thin to eat challenges, and they don't cover any of these transaction without someone paying for it. If your paypal account was hacked they typically view this as your fault, as most of the time its not from someone randomly guessing a username/password combination, but actually from the user geting tricked into giving the info to someone else, or using the same email/pass on a fishing site.
